It really would be uneard of for BB to move the goalposts half way through a series

And who's Shirley?
Ha, I must admit I do quite enjoy an Airplane gag!

it would make a total mockery of a 'free pass to the final' if it turns out to be anything but a free pass to the final.

This isn't a tricky one, surely?
The rules are there are no rules I do think it could be revoked or suspended just the same way as Jale's killer nom was suspended. I definitely don't think it should be given to someone else though.

On principle it was unfair that she got it in the first place, not just because it's Helen but nobody should ever have a free pass to the final.
I agree. The one with the free pass doesn't have the same house experience as the others.
Being nominated and up for public vote is part of the game. Other HMs have that worry each week while she can just sit back.

The others eventually get to know who nominated them but she never will so will not learn what the others really think of her.

If it can be taken away then it was never a free pass.

They told her she is a finalist already.

I'll be surprised if they do take it away.

The only way i can see them doing it is if Helen has a decision or choice to make which looses her the pass.

As Ashleigh is the PH is this the week Helen's pass will be revoked? Surely it has to be done at some point and this is the perfect opportunity. Helen is clearly worried about it.
WHY "surely"?? WHY can no HM put a claim on Marks £5k?? WHY should he be allowed to keep it, maybe they could offer Helen the £5k in exchange for her pass, OR is the issue WHO has the pass and not the pass itself!!

Why is everyone so obsessed about taking Helens pass away

she is not going to win so what is the problem

it makes people sound and look like Madame Defarge sitting at the guillotine

By all means vote so she comes out first final night and show she was only there because of the pass but the obsession that some people have is a little disturbing
REPLY Pattfrance

We do not know she will not win. I personally agree that she probably will not, but in the meantime she is meddling, bullying and politically creating hell for some contestants who could win. You could say that they do not deserve to win. However this is not the climate the audience should encourage. This programme goes out at 9pm. Last year the programme showed dissention, some bitchiness, but great intrigue etc. It was clever and not boring. This year it is all the same thing: sex, bad language, bullying and Helen.

I think they were probably were planning on doing something to take it away but with only three girls left they probably don't want to risk an all male final. Maybe if Zoe and Ashliegh are still there in the penultimate week then they might do something.

I'd just leave it now. What's the point of revoking it now?
It's a bit too late in the day to even bother now.

I want her to be on BBOTS on her eviction night with John McCrick giving her what for.

they could revoke it, then the next day give it back to her, two twists in two days that would rock the house to it's foundations

They could have her on a secret task and if she fails she loses it and if she wins she gets to keep it. I think that would be fair.

I don't understand why giving Helen a free pass is sacrosanct because BB promised this, yet assuring PHMS they are immune from eviction isn't .
If they can break a promise to one , surely they can break a promise to another ?
Why would that be seen as a step too far ?

I agree. Although she has had a far easier ride in that house than any of the others. She has never known what it feels like to be up for eviction. The whole pass thing sucked and what was worse, allowing her to nominate too. Ridiculous

Nope. Don't be silly. In any case Ashleigh's time as power housemate has finished.

I agree with Scarlett Berry. If BB breaks one promise then why not another. What is special about Helen. It is not only double standards it is BB method of control. BB writes the script, but on this series, it has got out of control and I think it has not worked as BB thought it would. So a lot of the twists and broken promises have been to cover up BB mistakes. I think this has been a real muddled series and perhaps those in power should take a close look at who is responsible and tale action.

it shouldn't be, i agree, but the ad-hoc and back tracking decisions of the past few days in the house means anything's possible, without any logic

Helen has no hopes or expectations of winning. She knows she's a bitch and she knows she is not popular. Taking away her free pass to the final would have no effect on the outcome whatsoever and would give a lot of BB fans nothing to hate. There has to be a hate figure.
