What makes her think she would have the power to hand over the pass.I would love for the PHM to take it from her and give to Chris the only one worthy to have it.

I find Chris and Ashleigh's reaction to that whole conversation ridiculous and amusing.

They don't like Helen a lot of the time and they are offended that she doesn't consider them when it comes to giving something.

Like kids in the playground, make a big thing about not liking another child and how they are so much better. But when it comes to the other child having a bag of sweets, complain when they don't get given one.

Are they not old enough to understand that if you "make a stand" against somebody don't expect them to love you.
Actions have consequences.”

BIB: not if your Helen, it would seem.

Helen doesn't have a nice bone in her body. The only reason she's "redeeming" herself is because of all those formal warnings she's had.

Yes but sadly, it seems she can't keep it up for any length of time without the nastiness seeping through

Strange how we saw a vt on BBBOTS when Mark does basically the same thing to Steven and Ashleigh sits there laughing, hypocritical much!! What Helen said any idiot would KNOW!!! WHY would she give the pass to someone she was not close too, Ashleigh would do the exact same, we all would, Ashleigh made something out of nothing!!

Helen is rude, aggressive, and totally insecure.
When you look at her history, it is not a great surprise, she has probably been 'shafted', excuse the pun, one too many times and has trust issues.
The insecurity towards Ashleigh and Chris may be partly their fault as well, but you cannot blame them for being appalled by her behaviour.
As for her 'redemption' 'change' - that's just a BB edit.

Much though I don't really like the sound of her much, I hope Helen does find some resolution in her life after this reality experience.

It was very reminiscent of a child giving out party invitations intentionally in front of some they don't want to invite.

Because Steven wouldn't have even heard it. Steven only hears Steven's voice

Ashleigh ,started the whole ,who'd she give the Pass to conversation off ,by asking her if she wouldn't want Ash to have it if she could give it ,after Helen was saying she had a feeling her Pass was going this week

First off, I agree with your point.

Second, I know these are typos but they made me chuckle as I can imagine Helen saying them in her accent.

I think the only way Helen can possibly redeem herself with some posters on here is to sit in the corner and say nothing till the end.

Anything she says will be twisted and a negative spin put on it. She is loud and brash and has a caustic sense of humour - it doesn't go down well on here.

It's basically a personality thing .........................I can see why she's not well liked but there does appear that it's an any stick to beat her with thing going on.

It was nasty, pointed and completely intentional. She singled Christopher out, just like bullies always do with those who are socially weaker. She had no need to mention anyone's name, she could have just said Mark would have been her third choice after Ash and Steven. She enjoyed it and the reaction she got. She loves it.

Not at all. I was, almost against my will, beginning to warm to her but that thing with the pass and also her browbeating of Mark to make sure she got Ash to the after party thankfully brought me back to my senses and I realised she is actually just as horrible as she was at the beginning - she's just been reigning it in slightly. Pity.

Most of the HM's are insensitive idiots.....but Helen just happens to be ten times worse

If everyone used Helen's "upfront" logic, the world would be a horrible place.

People need to get stuff off their chests. It's healthy.

But that does not mean saying every thought that comes to mind regardless of how
hurtful it might be.

The really sad aspect was that Christopher had done absolutely nothing to warrant that nasty comment,
and the indignation in her subsequent attitude told you everything you need to know about her.

Totally agree, I am truly bored with the whole "say it how it is". The world simply isn't like that, life just doesn't operate that way. Plus, I find it rather odd that the HM's who say this are always operating on the assumption people want to know what they think!!! Christopher isn't stupid he would be utterly clear on that, so why bother. Rather cruel IMO.

All this odious behaviour of "I'm not two faced me, if I don't like someone I tell them to their face". Really? Do these "upfront" people actually have jobs where they have to abide by normal human social etiquette?
I don't like plenty of people, but I have no need to go and be rude to them just so I could screech "I'm not two faced".

Just saying.”

What an excellent post and summing up of the situation ArwenEvenstar. How do these people hold down jobs? It's not being upfront and honest, it's not "telling it how it is", it's downright rude and lacking any form of tact whatsoever. Did these people not learn how to be tactful when they were younger?

She would not be 'up front' if she wasn't supported by her minions. Classic textbook bully characteristic .

It was blunt, maybe a tad insensitive but basically just brutally honest.

I think people taking offence on Christophers behalf is a bit daft. I don't imagine it bothered him - he's had far worse in there.

And I'm saying that as one that wants Christopher to win.

If Helen had pretended that she might have considered Christopher she'd have been called two faced.

I think it was said in jest ..........Helen does have a caustic sense of humour. It's not as if she said 'I want you to be evicted'.”

It didn't, he said Oh Thanks and laughed, just like Steven laughed when Mark said he's be out this week. I think that Christopher just takes Helen's sayings with a pinch of salt since he took her on that time. He seems to be mature enough to have got the measure of Helen, and just doesn't take offence any more, unless he's being told that he should do by The Miserable Twins.

You mean like Ashleigh, who started the whole pass conversation knowing how it would go ?
