The Big Brother 2014 Power Alliance have chosen a third housemate to face this week’s eviction.

In last night’s latest highlights show we saw the Power return to the house after Ashleigh Coyle was voted by the public to become the new Power housemate.

But she’s not got the Power alone, instead recruiting other housemates to join her own secret Power Alliance.

The Power Alliance, which currently consists of Ashleigh, Chris R Wright and Mark Byron, will nominate over the next few days in secret.

Previously the group nominated both Steven Goode and Ash Harrison.

This afternoon, Ashleigh, Mark and Chris were earlier called to the Diary Room. Whilst there, they were informed that three of their ex-Housemates were willing to offer up their advice on who else the Power trio should put up for eviction.

One at a time Biannca, Danielle and Matthew entered the Small Task Room. Each was wearing a hidden earpiece and was able to hear Ashleigh and her accomplices in the Diary Room. Ashleigh, Mark and Chris were be given one minute with each ex-Housemate.

After the discussions with their ex-Housemates, Ashleigh, Mark and Chris chose PAV as the third Housemate to face the public vote this week.

He joins Ash and Steven in this week’s public vote.

The Power Alliance and nominations will continue today with more housemates joining the alliances (and therefore immunity from eviction) while others find out they’ve been secretly nominated for eviction.

Was just about to post this because I saw it on Twitter. Is Steven still the most likely to go!?

What a lot of kerfuffle for an entirely obvious and predictable result.

This is all tediously predictable. What a twist.

Might as well have had normal nominations. At least they sometimes throw up a shock or two.

But maybe I'm thinking of a different show.

Depends if it's vote to save or evict

I can't see Pav going over Steven. He hasn't done anything vote to evict worthy.

Not Pav

He should be well safe against Steven though

Wonder what influence the ex housemates had on them choosing Pav if any.

If its a double eviction it will still be exciting come Friday but if not then I agree this is just a load of filler for what will be an obvious eviction of Steven.

He is odds on to go. Doesnt matter who else they put up along side him. i reckon even helen would be safe against steven.

Even on a vote to evict Steven is safe. Pav can be targeted by Ash and Steven fans. Job done Anyone remember Matthew or Jale? Everyone except the ever so intelligent HMs Chris and Ashleigh. This is obviously far too complex of a scenario for them to realise. Pathetic.

Don't see why they would suddenly change it to vote to save.

Although, logically, it's perhaps fairer, as Pav hasn't had nearly as much time as the other nominees to generate a hatebase on the outside.

I think that's how BB works, isn't it - X number of housemates compete to see who is the least detested among the GBP's keyboard warriors and pitchfork wavers.

Ash does and I wonder who they will be voting for? Mmm

Surely Steven will go this time if it's a vote to evict - he's managed to escape being up the last couple of times when he was 'rescued' by other hms.

So only Ash and Steven fans will be allowed to vote this time?? I would imagine that the fans of most of the other HMs will vote to evict Steven

I really can't see Matthew suggesting Pav?

Biannca & Danielle, sure to save their Winnie and keep the only other girl safe and they both like christopher, but no way Mr Tactical would have suggested Pav.

Don't fan bases overlap and help each other?

I assume not However Matthew went over Ash against the odds and Jale Ashleigh. There is a theme. IMO if Ashleigh and Chris truly wanted Ash or Steven to go they would put up Winston or Zoe or Christopher even.
