Exactly Sadly I actually think they are being strategic by allowing fans of Steven and Ash to target someone else and keeping as much flak as possible from themselves.

I think they think Steven will go as I do. They have heard all the chanting and booing for him, even he thinks he is the most hated hm.

I wish they had chosen Zoe - she would be safe in a vote to evict or a vote to save. If BB change this vote to a vote to save this week, then Pav might struggle, unless fans of others vote to keep him in to ensure Steven of Ash goes.

Pav may have gotten booed by the crowd on Friday but the very same crowd directed two VERY loud chants against Steven

But they also know he is popular, pav got boo's and he has only been there a week, and could possibly go...where as winston wouldn't,steven would have gone for sure..

Have we seen the returning Housemates input? Biannca and Danielle might have told Ashleigh that Pav and Zoe both agreed that she should be evicted last Friday which may have resulted in doubts on the behalf of the Alliance. Plus I think Mark might see Pav as a mini-me so will look to evict him at the earliest opportunity.

Yes but if they were truly voting to try and get either Steven or Ash out, then they should have put Winston up, he's been consistently cheered every week, very loudly, so he's not going to be the one that goes is he. Putting Pav into the mix just gives those members of the public, that may want to save the originals over the newbies, someone to focus on. If they'd put Winston up then one or the other of Steven or Ash would have gone for sure. Steven has been unintentionally funny this week, and seems to be having a meltdown, there might be lots of the GBP that want to keep him in so see him keep melting down lol.

Also Chris will have a problem with Pav after he call him two-faced (or wtte) in that task the other day

As much as we might hope otherwise HMs don't always vote/nominate with their heads

But Steven, Ash and Pav being up seems to still indicate that the public are in control. Winston being up would result in questions being asked at the very least. Saying that, they'll presumably have to nominate at least one more Housemate tonight and, to keep it looking like the public, they'll probably have to choose Christopher. Will Ashleigh take that risk after Matthew?

“One at a time Biannca, Danielle and Matthew entered the Small Task Room. Each was wearing a hidden earpiece and was able to hear Ashleigh and her accomplices in the Diary Room. Ashleigh, Mark and Chris were be given one minute with each ex-Housemate.

After the discussions with their ex-Housemates, Ashleigh, Mark and Chris chose PAV as the third Housemate to face the public vote this week.”

Do you get the feeling a bunch of young girls YTS sit at a table and dream up these scenarios while high fivieng each other for being so cleaver. and another one does the write up for online, "hidden earpiece" yeh so Bond. *rollseyes*

Though they might cause a problem for themselves using that strategy if Big Brother then asks for a swap. The pro-gang vote would have a clear target. By having a non-gang member up they can save the least annoying gang member, replace them with an alliance member and avoid a split vote - though it may still be a head-to-head but maybe more murky.

5.50pm: HMs who have not yet been nominated are making their pleas for survival. So many have learnt so much in the House

Do the HMs already know Pav is up for eviction OR is this just a way to give BB an excuse to make the announcement OR is it way to help the power alliance make another choice?

There's still another nomination to come. They're each making a speech right now to say why the deserve not to be nominated.

So either Winston or Zoe is going to be thrown into the mix shortly.

I think it's possible they'll have to choose another member of the Alliance before they nominate someone else

Possibly but won't the nominations have to be finalised tonight so they can give the public 48 hours to vote? Mind you, it might be a 24 hour voting window or a flash vote on Friday night... giving the public the chance to vote is novel in itself.

Will they choose Christopher for the Alliance ? I get the feeling that when he finds out he wasn't even third pick he's going to be well upset.

I was worried one of the newbies might be up...tasking the heat off the original HM's. However, I really can't see anyone but Steven going. He's been unpopular since he first went in more or less and as he's escaped eviction before, surely people won't miss a chance to evict him now.

My guess is small numbers there ...

As long he's chosen to be part of the alliance and thus immune I don't think he could give a monkey's which pick he was
