If you don't want simple answers then don't ask for them. I understand that you're Helen all the way but you just have to accept that others have valid contrary opinions.
I usually defend Helen on here because the hate is awful sometimes, but her making remarks to Ashleigh when she stood up was ridiculous.
What was Ashleigh supposed to do? It's a GAME! She has no choice!
And if Helen was PHM, she'd have sat there sniggering when they had to stand up, she made herself look ridiculous then.

Let's just agree to disagree then. Not really going to quibble over a tv show any more, I can understand why some people don't like her, but I'm just tired of seeing a particular housemate bashed over every little thing they're supposed to have done wrong even things that happened weeks ago.

Seems fair although I would dispute the term bashed on my part. I would call it healthy debate.
Helen is the only HM that can say what she wants and not care about the consequences, (to a point)
So even though she is the biggest target, perhaps she is the most real of ALL the housemates.
Whilst it seems that Helen is not allowed to have her power group of friends, it's perfectly acceptable for Ashblee to turn hers into power gamers........

I agree with this, but there was no need for her to have a dig at Ashleigh when she was revealed as PHM, Ashleigh was hardly going to nominate people she was friends with was she?

I actually don't think she would. Obviously she would discuss the events as everyone else did like Zoe etc having a discussion about how they came to the decision but she wouldn't just come out with a sarcastic comment there and there. It was just unnecessary
Helen has been sniping at Ashleigh from day 1, her commentary on this shows she is still the bully, she will be blaming Ashleigh again even though she promised Ashleigh that there would be no more hatred.

Helen always seems to struggle to put herself in the position of others and actually consider what they had to do. She is too quick to made a snide comment or shout people down before stopping to consider what they were actually asked to do. If someone doesn't do something the way she would she gets angry. She couldn't believe anyone would put her friends up, but I'm sure in Ashleigh's position she would have put Ashleigh up.

well during the girls power trip Helen was the only one who fought for Chris not to be nominated
