I voted for her. The worst ever winner - let's see - Anthony Hutton, Nadia yuk, Cameron - well most of them to be honest.

Ashleigh's lowering odds seem to have stalled today. She's favourite with one bookie and equal favourite with two others. Most HM's odds start to drift when they're up so it's probably a good sign. Christopher in third place is looking good. Helen had lower odds than him, just over a week ago.

That is good news. The bookies seem to be getting it wrong a lot this year. Hopefully this will be another one of those occasions!

This is the last chance for fans of Chris/Christopher/Winston/Mark to get her out!

The bad news is that that's far too much c@ck for a finale.

But if the alternative is the Grinchette? Maybe not.

Slight problem with this a lot of people are also fans of three or four of those you name aswell.

Usually at this point the favourite to win realises their popularity until their head grows just big enough to lose the die hard support and someone else can go and steal the crown.

It doesn't matter about 'people'. Ashleigh's got a chunk of the tweenie vote behind her, and that's a powerful force to be reckoned with, especially with Winston's act getting a bit stale now, and Mark being unmasked as 'a traitor'

I thought the tweenies were the ones booing her a few weeks ago because of her 'evil plan' to get hunky Ash up. They are very fickle indeed.

Your opinion of Rachel being the opposite of "proactive and opinionated and strong" utterly baffles me. I can't help but think that the "Rachel did and said nothing ever" thing is a bandwagon that people just like to jump aboard nowadays, because the actual events contradict that completely. Or maybe people just choose to selectively forget things?

Take Chipgate in the first week, Rachel was one of the only housemates to speak up and try to defend Rebecca against Alexandra, despite clearly being intimidated by the situation. I even remember Mo and Rex (the guy who gets tons of adoration) getting up and silently walking out, something Rachel refused to do.

And strong? I think somebody facing a lot of unwarranted hostility purely for being nice toughing it out without losing her optimism, and who is willing to stand up to an aggressive person when almost nobody else in the room will is a strong person.

Actually, perhaps I imagined all of this. Yeah, all she did was eat grapes for 13 weeks, silly me.

(For the record, Ashleigh is one of my favourites here, too. Not sure why people always need to pit past and present hms against each other).

Me neither, I love both Rachel and Ashleigh, 2 super women.

Hear Hear!

Rachel Rice is my favourite winner and I'll defy anyone who said she was weak. She wasn't. She had strength and resolve when many others didn't. If anything, her not getting mouthy under frustration shows a enormous stength of character.

I like Christopher for many of the reasons that I liked and admired Rachel.

I also like Ashleigh. I have no objection to seeing her win or Chris and Christopher for that matter. I like all three.

I agree with people about Sam though. Totally boring who did naff all.
