i am loving it
i think it is really clever, really well structured...

i think it lacks enough time to explain everything going on... which is why the tasks (which must have taken time and money to set up) have often not got the airtime you would have expected.. but i am glad they did not cut the conflict or arguments to fit them in, as it was important to see various perspectives of the tiffs and the build up...

i think it is one of the best.. and i am glad the producers stuck to their gameplan and ignored (and they really really have ignored several weeks of complaints on here - so take the hint!!) those who wanted it to change tack

The housemates this year definitely had the promise of a solid series, if only they'd let them be and let the process play out naturally, with the odd 'twist' here and there, not practically every single day!

The producers remind me of a child at a party showing off to the adults and jostling for attention - initially entertaining, then it gets old quickly, then eventually it gets tiresome or downright irritating.”

Well said!

What on earth are you using as a measuring stick.

Genuine question, do you work for BB...Endemol..C5

bib even the most ardent fan of this year debacle could not in all conscience agree with that. It's an utter mess

there is no difference in the way this BB works to any other year..

what there has been is a change in the gimmicks, the shiny things that like string to cats distract people from what is underneath... if anything, people thinking its all different this year should be asking themselves "why have i missed all of this from the previous years, why am i only seeing the gimmicks and the string moving"

I despair at the TOWIE way bb has gone on. Basically they steal ideas from geordie shore/TOWIE and Made in Chelsea without having really anything too original, its all recycled rubbish really.

Well if it was "really clever and well structured" then the BIB wouldn't be a problem would it? If they don't have enough time to show us everything in the highlights show then they should reintroduce a live feed and give us either longer highlights or another spin off show like Diary Room Uncut or something similar. The lack of time to show us everything is easily rectified, the problem is the producers seems to be stupidly incompetent and are obviously just making it up as go along.

It's the most badly produced BB I've ever watched. Since the show moved to C5 it's always been like a Pound Shop version of the show, but this series has plunged new depths in production values, it's a sack of shit basically.

I agree this BB is very poor and that the production team are lacking in creative ideas.

If I was in charge there would be no noms talk allowed in the house, nominations would take place in the diary room each week (in private) and any conversations housemates had in the Diary Room would remain confidential. I hate the face to face noms and BB engineering fights by letting housemates know what others have said about them. This information should be for the viewers only.

The weekly shopping tasks should last at least 3 days and be difficult. They should be made to work hard to pass. Just letting them laze around all day gets really boring.

There should be no contact with relatives or ex-housemates. Emma talking to the house shouldn't be done in front of a crowd either so the housemates can't tell who is popular or not.

There should be some times allotted for live feed eg. after an eviction. I don't think 24 hour live feed is necessary but an hour or two a day would be better than nothing.

Nobody should ever be given a pass to the final or put up for eviction every week. That was just wrong.

Having said all of that I really think that BB has had its day now and should probably be axed.

I hate to admit it but yes, it does make BB4 look much better in comparison.

It is saying something that I agree wholeheartedly with the OP given that Master Ozzy and I enjoy wildly different things in BB. We've hardly ever been on the same page before.
