I posted earlier wondering (jokingly) if she had vanished, but if it is correct it is simply wrong and cruel. She may have been a bit daft but doesn't deserve that.

This is totally out of order of course. But, you know, Pauline didn't flinch once when she left that house. There wasn't even the slightest sign of regret, remorse, even mild embarrassment at her behaviour. I'm not saying she did anything that bad, it certainly didn't warrant her treatment at the hands of these yobs but you'd hope people would watch themselves back and learn something or at least have a glimmer of acknowledgement.

Since when did having a bit of dog poo put through your letterbox become a reason to "FLEE" your home? It's not like she got burned out FFS. What a lot of guff! Kids on my old estate did that all the time.

If she just holds her hands up and says yes I was a bully but didn't know how I was coming across or I didn't know just how bad I actually was... Then all this would calm down, I think what is getting people angry is that she is still claiming she did nothing wrong despite seeing the footage of her nasty behaviour.

If I were her and insisted on acting like I did nothing wrong, at least I'd play it to the hilt (and she didn't).

Go on shows and to photo ops, for example, wearing T-Shirts with pithy Paulineisms like "I'm A Statementer!" and "Blame The Recidivists!" printed on them, and milk it. Try and bring some lightness out of the situation and emphasise that people shouldn't be taking this all so seriously.

This is usually the best response in the wake of acting like a buffoon on TV. Act like you have a sense of humour about it.
