The disappointing thing is that Chris isn't actually that spot on at all - along with his well rehearsed individual character assassinations (Christopher, Winstone & Steven) he speaks in such broad brush sweeping statements.
His diary room rant on Fridays show which had so many of his fans buzzing was just so OTT ... "never seen a
group of people" "
everyone spent the afternoon discussing it loudly" "
they all say they speak to peoples faces ... bollocks ...
they've all proved it tonight" "this is a really nasty
bunch of people when they want to be"
What is this? Chris versus the world ? - Does he really think Christopher, Ashleigh, Pav, Zoe, Danielle, (I could possibly go on) are a
nasty bunch of people? Of course not! But he just likes to set himself above the rest - he is just too judgmental and condemnatory for my taste.
Now, Christopher is worth ten Chris' and I'm very surprised he isn't this years forum favourite - he's got the intelligence people look for - he's got a fun spirit - he's an obvious fan - he's awkward - he's been a bit downtrodden but takes it in his stride - he's got the moral compass - he's not judgemental and
he has compassion - he's a good friend.
Let's maybe appreciate Chris for his occasional witticisms but back Christopher for being the full package.
... and there endeth todays lesson!
