I don't think confrontation is always necessary. Sometimes it's enough to air ones views to another and see whether you're being paranoid or whatever. You don't have to stir up a stressful encounter with someone in order to resolve strong feelings. this confrontation boast, favoured particularly by Helen, is just a vehicle for badgering and over-riding others opinions. A kind of bullying tbh. It's a case of who's got the loudest voice in arguments with her.

The disappointing thing is that Chris isn't actually that spot on at all - along with his well rehearsed individual character assassinations (Christopher, Winstone & Steven) he speaks in such broad brush sweeping statements.
His diary room rant on Fridays show which had so many of his fans buzzing was just so OTT ... "never seen a group of people" "everyone spent the afternoon discussing it loudly" "they all say they speak to peoples faces ... bollocks ... they've all proved it tonight" "this is a really nasty bunch of people when they want to be" What is this? Chris versus the world ? - Does he really think Christopher, Ashleigh, Pav, Zoe, Danielle, (I could possibly go on) are a nasty bunch of people? Of course not! But he just likes to set himself above the rest - he is just too judgmental and condemnatory for my taste. Now, Christopher is worth ten Chris' and I'm very surprised he isn't this years forum favourite - he's got the intelligence people look for - he's got a fun spirit - he's an obvious fan - he's awkward - he's been a bit downtrodden but takes it in his stride - he's got the moral compass - he's not judgemental and he has compassion - he's a good friend. Let's maybe appreciate Chris for his occasional witticisms but back Christopher for being the full package. ... and there endeth todays lesson! ![]() If he had any guts he would have gone for BB, it was their doing from start to finish. When it wasn't enough having Bianca come in and gossip about Danielle, they had the "chat show" hosted by Steven. Though TBH, if he had a fraction of the integrity/intelligence he is being credited with, he should have (Christopher as well) have pulled her up weeks ago on the inconsistencies she had shown. |

What would be the point of Chris telling Helen to her face what she is?
We are intelligent enough to work it out ourselves. |

Yes agreed last week was a hatchet-job on Danielle and still by the end no-one had actually proved anything of substance, except as Christopher pointed out not everyone is either in box A or box B

We are indeed capable of seeing them all for ourselve's, so why does Chris bother to keep telling us from the comfort of the DR? Does he think we too lack the intelligence....er no Chris, some of us can also see what you are too.

Some people are pacifists and will avoid confrontation at all costs. I like Chris; in the diary room he's singing from the same page as many viewers.

He's just helping us out, after all we only get to see approx 50 mins a day, he gets to see them all day, every day so I think he does know more about the other hms than we do.

Fair points but I don't think it's the housemates job to necessarily expose each others inconsistencies and back stories - they will of course have developed personal opinions of each others honesty and trustworthiness which obviously determines who they spend time with etc.
Yes agreed last week was a hatchet-job on Danielle and still by the end no-one had actually proved anything of substance, except as Christopher pointed out not everyone is either in box A or box B ![]() For instance Danielle's talk of finishing school leading to marrying somebody rich, her rubbish about stockbrokers and bankers. Anybody with any integrity would have picked her up on that. One because it's a pack of lies, two because it's an appalling attitude to have, three it's a way of looking down on other people. And don't even go there with her attitude to faith, complete lack of consistency, espousing the opposite of beliefs within the church she says she belongs to. How does an intelligent/educated person sit and listen to BS about marrying somebody rich when that same person is spouting Catholic doctrine. The phrase "easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man enter the kingdom of heaven" must be itching to come out. Chris says he is looking for intelligent conversation, well there was a prime starting point. |

Depends on how much those inconsistencies clash with what your own personal integrity is saying.

I agree there is plenty here for any of them to sit and chat about - who knows maybe they did ? It would have been shown in the early BB series but that is a conversation that would have definitely ended on the cutting room floor on Channel 5 BB. However, Danielle is not the first and wont be the last avowed Christian who doesn't live up to the strict moral code they apparently believe in.
You can't have it both ways, either he is to be believed and there is no intellectual stimulation, something he was alluding to about the new HM and "intelligence", or he is lying. Or alternatively, he's playing the "I'm the only clever one game" for the benefits of the public vote and his own fragile ego, and deliberately avoids giving anybody the chance himself of proving that wrong. |

But then Chris wouldn't be carrying on as he does in the DR.

As has been said better than me by many posters over recent days (and to some degree I'm guilty of this too) Chris's (and Christophers) intelligence is actually used as a bit of a self-satisfied pat on the back by the supporters - he's clever -> he says what I think -> I'm clever! ... Chris - BB15's echo chamber!

Love him or hate him . He does seem to see what the outside world has on many occasions . Is it enough to win though ?
I wasn't a fan right at the start but now I like him and I do think he has sussed a lot out BUT has he brought enough to the party to win ? Or could he have a chance of winning simply because others are so contraversial ? |
