Nahh she watched it but because her opinions on the show didn't match the forum's, she was constantly criticized on here.

Well Ashleigh being up was on the CH5 BB website yesterday, so if Emma only found out this morning, that just shows that she doesn't look at the website.

I completely agree. It's in the best interests of the show for everyone to be shocked, and for the presenters to seem like 'one of us' if the shit hits the fan. Let the producers take the fall. We have to keep liking Emma and Rylan .

As if she's stupid enough to not tow the party line. Pfft.

Anyway, I think Emma's tweet revealing she didn't know what was going on was probably one of those "deliberate accidents". A sort of.”

Thanks I love this forum and most people I agree with. I didn't mention stopping watching the show to peev anyone off. I was just frustrated lol plus I still want Ashleigh to win so will keep an eye on the forum to see how she's getting on (not well, by the looks of it). But if I hadn't stopped watching on Friday I would've stopped at this latest manipulative twist by BB.

I agree with you btw!

Probably after. But not sure how that's relevant?
Surely Emma has internet access at home?

Shambles of a show. That is all.

It's better if the presenters don't know what will happen in case their body language or chat gives it away. Far too many developments in BB are leaked in advance.

if she recorded the show before it was "known" what difference is internet access?

For a start, my comment was tongue in cheek.
I agree with others that Emma and Rylan's tweets were just to drum up interest in the show.

But if we take it at face value and she was only "messaged" this morning about Ashleigh being up, that shows that she didn't check the website yesterday evening (or this morning, before the message), implying that she doesn't take much of an interest anyway.

ETA: But then again, as BOTS is basically commenting on what happened yesterday, perhaps it's better if she doesn't know what happened today?

It is clear she sees the shows, and is very well briefed on what has been happening... but she wont be being told all day whats going on... and so no shock, she learnt from social media like the rest of us...”

Because she's professional?

And as a professional I doubt she's at all happy to have been involved in lying to the viewers, even unwittingly. Hence her very public distancing of herself from it this morning.

she is professional... she is a professional presenter... who has many other projects... which means she has "pre-preproduction" meetings to go to, other shows to present etc etc... she is just a very good presenter of what she is told to do...

her job on BBOTS is be both "explain-er" for the show to the viewer & a proxy for the viewer to the "show" and she does that very very well... and she has a script

but if you think she is going to be "working on the show" all day... that is daft and very much not "the professional"'s role

Nobody is suggesting that she works all day every day on BB, and nobody other than you is suggesting that she would need to in order to be kept informed of major developments and intended storylines. That's just naïve.

She's a very good, very professional presenter and it's not surprising if she's unhappy at being involved, even indirectly and unwittingly, in lying to the viewers of the show for which she is the public face. Similarly, she was clearly offended at not being told Kim had left because being seen to be unaware of such a major development reflects badly on her professionalism, and she absolutely should have been kept informed.
