James Arthur IS a credible artist - by this I mean he has paid his dues before even auditioning for X-Factor. I live in his locality, so I know this to be true.
Fair enough he has said some things that don't endear him to a lot of people, but that doesn't affect his credibility.
CBB is career suicide. . . So he made the correct choice.
