Whats new? "Big Brother will rig a set of challenges in an attempt to frustrate half of the housemates in the latest task". Yet almost everything else big brother does frustrates loyal fans. No wonder viewers are abandoning ship. Why don't they just put 16 people in a house, let them nominate and be voted out without any twists or interference. Maybe then they will get the 2-3 million viewers like they used to have back in the heyday!

So true. It's because they think constant manipulation keeps people interested.

The reality is, the first few big shocks BB did, did shock people, because it had not been done before, and the viewers loved it, and everyone in the house was shocked too.

Now, we've had so many twists (and the same ones done repeatedly), the housemates expect twists- the public expects twists, so they aren't exciting any more, and so many twists completely ruin the format, to the point at which, nothing means anything any more.

The basic idea still stands, that people go in, nominate in a far way, are evicted in a fair way, and we have live feed so we know it's a fair representation. Since we have none of that any more, they just throw in constant, cheap twists because they realise they're flogging a dead horse.

One of the challenges in the DR is about the HM's, so more bitching revealed *rolleyes*
