Mark Saying Ash Has Been Up 6 Times

To Ashleigh and Chris, when they was trying to say he deserves a break.. cue the tumbleweeds and silence from them.

Mark, bless him, isn't great with numbers.

I really don't think he even likes Christopher that much. I think the reason for friendship is twofold.

He needed a new sidekick after Mattgew left. Who else is he going to convince to neigh like a horse? (Maybe Zoe if she'd been in earlier)

Secondly, he suspects Christopher and him as a pair will appeal to people as a pair, but as the "funnier, more handsome and popular one" he'll soak up all Christopher's votes when he inevitably goes before the final, especially as Mark can use that for full sympathy effect.

This would have been Ash's 5th time and it would have been Christopher's 6th.

So whichever one went up it would have been their 6th time.

Mark is forgetting though that Christopher has never been saved.

You're right.
How many times has Ash been saved? Is it twice?

And Steven - he was saved twice as well.

But no one saved Christopher -- he faced eviction and survived.

That was interesting - I think Mark wanted to nominate Christopher but Ashleigh pointed out that Mark wouldn't look good if they did...interesting that

I entirely agree - he is a man with a plan and wanted to replicate all the previous BB hysterically funny double acts. Sadly Matthew and Christopher have brains which meant that Mark had to be the stooge in the relationship. Well no one's laughing at Mark now. His selfishness and disloyalty is plain for all to see.

I think his exact words were 'six foaken tarms'.

What was the weirdest thing was that they were deciding between Christopher and the newbies and Ashleigh said "but Christopher's been up 5 times" and Mark said "yeah but so's Ash, he's been up 6 times"

The implication there is "well you put Ash up that many times so why not Christopher" it sometimes felt like he was trying to influence them to pick Christopher but without him being part of the process so he'd not look like he'd betrayed Christopher.

I wish they'd agreed and said "maybe we should do Christopher" just so I could see how quickly Mark agreed.
