Well i did blink and turn away when he was talking(i do that quite a lot when he is on my TV) so maybe that was when he "he fought tooth and nail for Ash"....

I think Mark definitely missed it... He's just trying to ingratiate himself with the cool kids. I didn't like him from the start, and then he went downhill from there - I'd love to see him out.

He did seem abit like he didn't want to put him up... when he was alone saying his name. When they picked him he was fine with it, but when it was decided he pretended it was hard to try look good or something

He certainly put a giant spin on "Fighting" to save Ash when he was relaying the story back...."Helen, I fought for Ash, honest to GOD...you've no idea, how hard I fought"....lying little git.

When Ashleigh talked about deciding who to put up Mark mentioned Ash's name before she had a chance to. He then a minute later went to say it would go down with Helen and Ash if Ash was up and them taking it out on him but he could handle it. So no he didn't fight for Ash. Nothing there to indicate he did.

As for new information fed into the house and acting shocked about Zoe, he's been on the reality circuit too. I find Zoe a bit annoying but she doesn't play up to the camera's nowhere near the amount that Mark does, everything is put on for the audience. If he wants to play dirty, the new hm's should expose him for what he is, since he is happy to turn the whole house against them and pass the stick from himself to Ashleigh and Chris.

If they did edit it out they must have also editied out the part when he was in the control room crying uncontrollably as he put Ash up for eviction.. Hang on.. We saw that part? Hmm, that's some clever editing right there. Maybe they used a complex CGI technique?
