I thought I would never say this but I hope Ashleigh stays on Friday if we get anything close to normal noms next week! Her & Chris should be leading the way to make sure Mark is up next week!!!!
They don't know he threw them under the bus ,
sadly they think he's a friend who's " on the same page " .

I think Mark is a nice guy. He isn't deep and he isn't assertive. He's a social butterfly and his way of navigating life is to be nice and get along with people (possibly in a fairly superficial way). I believe that hell for someone of his character would be falling out with people or living with an atmosphere so he was in, what for him , is a nightmare scenario.

It seems a shame to describe someone who wants to get along with people, who will be economical with the truth rather than risk upsetting someone and who looks for the bridge rather than the jugular, as two faced.
Precisely! But like all social butterflys he'll flit from flower to flower not forming any deep attachments and sucking up just the right amount of nectar that HE wants before flitting to the next flower. But also like a butterfly he may be all about the decoration and pretty to look at (in his opinion) but it's all very short lived and unsustainable long term.

Its the very thing he accuses Pav and Christopher of .

I agree but Ashleigh and Chris are no better.

He's a vile little cretin - a two-faced, double-crossing little phoney.

And I noticed they edited out the lies he was telling when he said he was crying in the control room when he had to nominate Ash.

So glad his gameplan has become so blatantly obvious for the first time. Did anyone else notice they way he nominated Ash in the control room? Very sneaky wriggling in comments to save his own ass should the clips be shown to the house. Fake, get him OUT

Nice try, but we've all seen how ruthless he can be with Christopher who he KNOWS has feelings for him!

I did like Mark but was deeply disappointed to find out that he has no spine.
I am disappointed that it took you so long to find out.

He really disappointed me; bowing and scraping to Helen and Ash as if they were the king and queen of the house. So unpleasant to watch. He doesn't seem to be capable of loyalty.

Mark was finally exposed, but he still got a good edit on the HL show, you have to look at the clips and youtube to see how much he panicked when the Power Alliance was exposed.

He told Helen, Steven, and Ash his version of what happened, which was highly elaborated, just so he could deflect any of the blame from himself, and leave it to Chris and Ashleigh to take the brunt of it.

You only had to watch Mark on Shipwrecked to see what kind of person he was, on that show he was a schemer who whined and moaned, but on BB he has been unmasked, shame they still edited it so he did not look half as bad, time to take off those rose tinted glasses, he is no longer fun time Mark Everyones friend, he is nothing more than a Snake .....

I am always wary about fast, glib talkers.......especially if they are trying to wriggle out of a lie......

Mark was my favorite a couple of weeks ago but I've quickly gone off of him after the way he's treated Christopher and sucked up to Helen. He's such a desperado.

I found it hilarious at just how much of a grovelling little creep Mark was after the alliance was exposed. "It wasn't meeeeeeeeeeeeeee". All his dramatics about how he fought for Ash and it distressed him so much to do it. He enjoyed being part of a secret Power Alliance as much as Chris and Ashleigh did. But that's Mark all over isn't it? Everyone's "bezzie mate" until anything goes wrong, then he'll throw them under the bus and try and save his own skin.

As for the Christopher situation, fair enough if he doesn't fancy him back, but he hasn't exactly been clear about that has he? He's done the whole "I like him as a friend" thing in the Diary Room, but he's told Christopher they are on the same page (which is a conveniently vague statement, so he can't be called out on it) and the other housemates have said he's never told them he doesn't like Christopher in that way. I think in that sort of situation, it's fairer to be clear to the person who fancies you that you don't feel the same way, not string them along, take advantage and make them think they might have a chance. That's, at best, incredibly selfish. But then that wouldn't be out of character for Mark would it?

I think he might have forgotten that the public don't like turncoats.

What did he do wrong? BB revealed the alliance not him, contrary to yesterday's thread when people wrongly assumed Mark chose to spill the beans.

He defended himself just like Ashleigh and Chris did. They all used a bit of spin to avoid the wrath of the others. He explained why they all chose Ash and he put all of their points of view across.

Yes, his comment about the other two choosing Steven beforehand was arse-covering, and he's prone to amateur dramatics when he describes how he feels about anything but we got a few short minutes of their decision-making. He DID stick up for Ash before going to the loo for a nervous crap and I'm quite sure the conversation continued after.

The only part I didn't like was his refusal to be open to Pav. It was harsh. But Commandant Helen had ordered silence on that front and he was already in her bad books.
Agreed. It's a game. I still want him in the final.

Watching this on demand 5 and I noticed that mark had no problem saying 'scape goat' properly when he was talking to Zoe properly, not like in the diary room when he said 'escape goat' every second sentence.

Don't know if anybody picked up on that.

He was so anxious to cover his own back and make out he had no part in nominating anyone, he was gabbling his head off. Exposed at long last.

Yes and he will be turning into a caterpillar soon according to Steven's strange concept of the butterfly life cycle.

His game plan so far has been good and has kept him from being nominated, be nice to and be friends with everyone. Keeping your HMs onside is the way to stay in the house as long as possible. He seems to have forgotten though that in the end it is up to the public rather than the HMs....
