In fairness he didn't watch the show we just did and he was involved this time do hasn't seen their behaviour behind his back, he's normally spot on because he's not in the middle so he can observe what's going on.

Possibly. I'd say that the stress may have impaired his judgement somewhat too.

I agree with those of you saying he can't see the truth because he's in it - but, seriously!??
