Matthew, on twitter tonight, said he wanted to advise the housemates to evict Winston but was told he wasn't allowed by the producers...

"I was not allowed to do that as by implying that Ash or Steven would go meant sharing public opinion with the housemates"

https://mobile.twitter.com/MatthewDa...5280492544?p=v

- That's the first clear and tangible proof of over meddling by the producers and it does lead me to wonder, if they stopped Matthew advising them yo pick Winston, what else have they stopped or forced through or manipulated?

They wouldn't have picked Winston anyway.

They were stuck for choice.

Just make sure we don't vote for the winner BB wants.

I think he mean't put Winston up so Ash or Steven would go, but that was telling them what the public thought.

Not surprised.

Typical manipulation from BB.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pauline was told to select Helen to go to the final.

Why are you only quoting the first part and not the second ? Misleading forum members.

It was the REASON they had a problem with, not the fact he was suggesting Winston. Why on earth would they bend over backwards to protect someone who had absolutely zero chance of going anywhere?

Exactly ! I've said this before that Pauline was told to give the pass to skanky Helen by the producers !!!

Why would suggesting Winston be nominated let them know Ash or Steven might go Aren't the House more than aware of Steven and Ash's precarious position anyway?

Anyway Matthew isn't saying the producer's forced him to lie about Pav and Zoe so what is his excuse for that?

Sounds like he's trying to protect himself tbh

But they didn't care about Matthew and Danielle's reasons IE lying about Pav and Zoe

Yes, no one forced him to call them snakes in the grass.

I do think BB were right to stop him from giving that reason for nomming Winston. It's one thing hearing crowd chants on the night, which aren't even reliable, but quite another getting emphatic info about someone's eviction odds ahead of time.

I've got no problem with them not allowing the reason as they often disallow HM's reasons when nominating and ask for something else but as they seem to be ok with lying why couldn't Matthew come up with something else, even a lie about Winston.

Just another example of Matthew blaming others for being so easily led and spineless, he needs to "bore off"

You have just twisted what he said!!!! What's wrong with people on DS?!?!?! He wasn't allowed to say outright put Winston up because that way it means Steven or Ash are deffo going as it tells them who's popular on the outside (feeding them info about the outside world which most people on DS hate). So instead he used his own personal opinions (which was the point of him talking to the HM's) on different housemates. Not anywhere in there did he say producers told him to say Pav or Zoe!

Seriously mate get a grip!

I seriously dislike Matthew, he pontificates at every bloody opportunity and actually believes that his word is law. He gets so bitter over Helen that I wonder if he wasn't attracted to her, and actually hates her because he did find her attractive. He is such a bitter man.

I know the eviction crowd is a very small percentage of the viewing public, but surely they'd have an inkling from the reaction of the crowd that putting Winston up increases the chances of everyone else being evicted.
I don't think Matthew would have been giving away anything they couldn't have logically figured out for themselves.

He should have just said, "if you want to increase the chances of someone going you need to put them up against someone you feel is popular with the public".

That probably wouldn't have been allowed either come to think of it because it's tactical.
Both the producers and the public seem to abhor the idea of playing a game while you are actually playing a game.

It certainly has a ring of truth to it especially with all the previous meddling from producers.

1000% agree with this statement, everything that has happened over the last few weeks says she was chosen to keep the show running. This show has to go in it's current format.

I totally agree....I couldn't believe it when all the Panel in BBOTS last night said they thought that Pav would be the one to go tonight and the Audience was encouraged to agree......What was that all about when Stephen is clear Favourite to go

Surely all of them realise that the eviction crowd is not a true reflection of the voting public. Case in point, Aaron. He was booed relentlessly by rent a mob, yet he was always saved first, with the most votes, and went on to win (yippee).
