I'm watching BBOTs at the moment and Emma just mentioned pre nups and wedding, was that a pre nuptial agreement she was bringing up or something else?

So Steve is not that wealthy? Even though he's visited 180 odd counrties? Or was he generally blagging it? If he comes from Bushey, that is generally quite an expensive area to live in unless his parents got a council house back in the day when they were going cheap and he lives with them? He acts "rich" if you know what I mean.
You'd think by now she would've done some googling and found out more about him.

I don't know if he's got money or not, but, regardless, by being willing to take risks that they'll look like fools, they also stand to make a lot from magazine deals. Kim is no more in love with Steven than I am. I don't think for a second Steven is genuine about the relationship either. I think they have an 'arrangement' to have a 'relationship' and make as much dosh from it as possible. They are both intelligent people and have somehow come to a mutual agreement on this, doesn't have to be actively discussed, could be an understanding without words. They both clapped eyes on each other and knew instantly they were of like mind. Or, perhaps they had some connection before they entered the house, who knows. I don't like either of them, but fair play to them, they've managed this well, been very entertaining and it's not finished yet!

Of course he was lying about all the countries he has visited. he's only 23. There just wouldn't have been time. And yes, he does live with his parents and it is their business that he was made director of.

! Luke and Rebecca from the same series were another example, albeit a cartoonish one. At least they kept up the facade for a while.

One of the things I've learned in life is that people will believe anything you tell them, unless they have evidence to the contrary.
DS forum members have done quite a lot of snooping about in Steven's finances and they've found no evidence that he's remotely wealthy at all.
Steven is a desperately insecure person who has constructed a fantasy around himself to make himself feel better. It's possible we're all wrong about this, but if you can find evidence that Steven is a millionaire, I'd love to see it.
