Of course there is, not everyone believes the edit from the show, some can actually see a real person in there, not just the panto villain that she's been portrayed as, For me personally, I want Christopher to win, because I think he's been the nicest, real person in there and I think that most people can see why I'd want him to win, so there's no point in explaining any more about that. I'd like Helen to come second though, because she's been the most complex character this year, she's been at the heart of the show all the way through, and yes she IS real, if you watch her carefully she shows herself warts and all. She's terrified that someone she considers a friend is going to stab her in the back and it frightens the hell out of her if she thinks it's a possibility. She's shown how she has huge trust issues, and someone even saying a jokey off the cuff remark kicks off her paranoia big time. She's shown that she herself will be as loyal as the day is long to her friends and it takes her a long time to trust, which is why she blows when a person that she's just starting to trust does something to make her question it. She doesn't seem to have very good insight into other people, so she relies on her friends and can't seem to make the jump to being able to make up her own mind, or trust her own judgement, about others. She put her trust in Pauline at the start and believed everything Pauline told her, she believes everything Steven tells her also, and BB knows exactly how to pull her strings to make her go off on one. I'm aware that she's done some not so nice things in there, but then many of them have too, but I believe that she gets no leeway at all from SOME mainly due to her past profession (people can deny that all they like, but it's obvious from a lot of the posts about her that mention it, or call her names connected to that profession). I think that Ash has calmed her down a lot, but I think that if she'd had a more normal girl friend in there, who could see her issues clearly and knew how to deal with them, then she wouldn't have been half the volcano that she has been. I've said many times on here, she kicks out before she gets kicked, it's a defence mechanism for her which she hasn't grown out of. Almost like she's stuck back in adolescence trying to work out how to learn social skills, but she has absolutely no idea of how to start. So, she's been a very interesting character for me.
