I like him and I don't think he is boring at all.

I like the way he thinks things through. Coming in late and with those bunch of HM's I don't think he will do well.

Not sure what year he would have better, in as haven't watched a lot.

OP is there a year that you have in mind?

I can see him there actually. He'd have fitted in so much better with HMs like Dean, Josh, Bubble and Elizabeth who could string a sentence together. Plus they had proper tasks involving team work and proper planning.

Though, as you say, he'd have had to have his mum in there with him back then
