I think Ash was already up at that point. Ashliegh said she didn't want to choose Christopher because he's been up every single week and Mark said something along the lines of Ash has been up just as many times (he hasn't) and they still put him up.
Maybe I got Ash and Winston mixed up.
I can remember him saying something like that, but would need somebody to confirm what he actually said.

After watching the twist and seeing Mark run up to the cool kid dumb mob, and his conversation with Pav, I've see him for what a two faced spineless person he is. I new he was not to be trusted, and to think I had him as one of my fav's!

Awful to see one of your favourites fall from grace.......I didn't like him anyway.......but I think of his friends and family seeing that, and knowing what he is really like........

Did I miss the bit when he fought so hard to keep Ash from nomination?

Weirdly Mark has grown on me. I think he's a bit cold toward Christopher though, I think they'd make a nice couple.
Me too. I still like him.

I think that might be right. I do know he said it was between Ash/Winston and Christopher. I certainly didn't hear him make any case for it not to be Christopher.

I don't particularly dislike him and he does make me laugh at times but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him and I do think it's awful the way he has treated Christopher.

Sorry but I have never liked him, I saw his fakeness in the first week around Pauline and Helen,. He has always wanted to be in with the cool kids and this is why he is so untrustworthy with Christopher and in general, he is what you call fickle and two faced.

So Mark has never been my favourite and never will.

I agree I have totally gone off him, I don't like sneaky people and the way he went straight to cover his own back after the nominations, I didn't like that. My opinion had changed the last couple of weeks anyway the way he treated Christopher, but this has finally made my mind up about him.

Even the conversation with the so called cool kids after the PowerHM reveal was edited. BB had foolishly for them shown the thing in full online (then taken it down). In the online version he actually said I was full on crying and shaking when I had to give Ash's name in the diary room which was a blatant lie. They did show the lie when he says I fought for Ash as he did no such thing! The problem is he has protected himself from the cool kids and in so doing has forgotten that the public are watching! He has probably engineered his own downfall.

Up until then he wasn't my favourite but I certainly didn't not like him. I knew he was game playing and was enjoying him as "good TV" copying past HMs traits, such as trying to be a Nikki in the diary room, standing up for underdogs in certain arguments and so on. Playing a good game but now shot himself in the foot.
Totally agree with this

I had a visceral loathing for the teeney bearded weasel from the moment I watched his opening VT. He has only gone down further in my estimation with his recent behaviour.

I cannot bear/ bare..the sight of him and especially on eviction nights when he stuffs himself into that miniscule jacket and ridiculous bow tie....

Did Mark really consider nominating Christopher over Ash when he said it's between them two?
Or did I mishear this?

If what I thought I heard was true would that mean his fear of Helen was stronger than his friendship with Christopher?
He was prepared to save WINSTON or ZOE (who he has known ONE WEEK) over Christopher, the little gobshite. It was Chris and Ashleigh who were insistent on saving Christopher. If it had been up to Mark alone, Christopher would probably be the ONLY one up.

I'd like him a hell of a lot more if he didn't make the HL show edit, ever.

Yep and he didn't want to nominate Zoe because of how deep that friendship is.*rolls eyes*
He really isn't in my opinion, everything he does is contrived and well thought out in advance so i don't find him amusing or interesting.

I couldn't bear him when he auditioned for XF and acted like a right little attention seeking drama queen. Not seen anything yet to change my view that is exactly what he is

Have you not realised yet that Mark has only ever used Christopher ? If the horrible snipey Matthew was allowed to return, then Mark would have Christopher out on the doorstep faster than Fred Flintstone puts Dino out there !

It was a big mistake to choose him to have the power in my opinion. He is the last person I would trust with anything like that. Blabber.
I was thinking the exact same thing and he proved it as soon as it was revealed he was one of the power housemates. He crumbled like a house of cards. Pathetic. He didn't have to justify anything to these vvankers, all he had to say was it was a game, and he was one of 3 who were forced to choose someone and there aren't very many left to choose from.

Everyone thinks they're special and don't deserve to be nominated for some reason. If Helen didn't have permanent immunity, she wouldn't even be in the house right now.
