These magazine deals . . .

Does anyone have any hard facts about how much Z-list "celebs" get paid for magazine photoshoots?

Everyone's saying that the Kimbot is sticking with Steven so she can cash in on the magazine deals. My suspicion is that they really don't pay that much.

Big Brother is nowhere near the big deal it used to be. No newspaper other than the Star covers it, and only because Richard Desmond own(ed) both the Star and Channel 5. Even the Star has given up its blanket coverage of BB.

Magazines aren't what they used to be, either. People are more and more reading online.

So I'm not sure how much demand there is for pictures of Kimbot and Steve and I'm not sure how much money anyone's got to pay for them, anyway. I read somewhere that Page 3 models get paid a couple of hundred quid.

I don't see it as anything other than a short-term fix while you try to figure out a proper way to make a living.

Like being a lawyer. Except no-one's really looking for a lawyer who's willing to have sex on national tv in order to secure a magazine deal.

I reckon Kimbot's got some lean days ahead of her. If she were any good as a model, she would have stuck with that. Very few women make a decent living from modelling. If she were any good as a law student she would have stuck with that. Now she's made a career in the law a thousand times harder and less likely.

It's possibly she'll make a lovely housewife to her millionaire boyfriend but given that no-one's provided any evidence at all for Steven actually being a millionaire, I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that Kimbot is working at a nails concession in a health spa in a few years time earning less than most DS readers.

I totally agree OP.

She can earn more with one topless shoot than in the likes of Heat magazine...

She is not with Steven for the deals!

Here's one mag deal, they shouldn't turn down. Strangely, the abbreviated title makes it even more appropriate.

In my experience from around £300 (washed up X factor rejects) to a couple of grand (current reality TV stars.)

I guess the very first interview if it was a big story and involved nude pics might be a bit more but definitely not enough to retire on.

I have not the slightest clue why people think there is money to be made from deals.

Gone are the Ziggy and Chanelle days. You probably have to pay Heat to appear nowadays.

They might do with them because IF they have done stuff it has been more surreptitious whereas we actually saw Steven and Kimbot (aaaargh my bleeding eyes) and really couldn''t care what else they have to say except what "it" was!

Probably not a lot, but this will keep her in the limelight thus able to meet other men through award shows etc. I think the "real" money will be made when they break up and she's going to cash in on his controlling behavior and have headlines such as "this new man treats me with respect" "I've never felt like this"

I think she's over estimating how much the public care though, nobody will really go out of their way to buy a cover with BB contestants especially not one with an american girl and a controlling freak.

Raising your profile isn't always as easily quantifiable as wanting to get magazine deals.

I'd guess at about £2000 for a photo shoot in the Star. That's when they are still current...the days of making loads of money from BB are long gone, if they ever existed. Sure, some made some decent money, but most will have struggled to make a few grand.

Unless you have a transferable talent and end up on TV regularly, or modelling etc it's not a money maker.

Sophie talked about this back in BB10, and I'm sure it was nowhere near that amount. Maybe even as low as £15, although it was 5 years ago and I could well be misremembering.

Either way, it was definitely under £100, and almost certainly not even half that.

Plus Helen is someone that their readers will probably already have heard of. Kimberly, not so much.

Steven spends that on sparklers before breakfast, they better up their offer if they want someone as significant as him in their little rag

Kim will no doubt bag herself a footballer once the mag deals dry up

The mags don't need BB any more when they have an endless supply of TOWIE/MIC/GS types who will do a photo shoot in their underwear for a bag of crisps and a Desperado

Kim looked awesome last night. She could at least catch hold of a championship footballer. Maybe even a lower half premier league 'star.'

A few years back before 2008 It used to be 150 to 250 quid for a glamour shoot. A story about a current HM 500 quid at most a story from a HM no more then 1000 quid probably less now as agent tend to bundle their client up for a fixed fee.

When Orla was on BB & she walked out, her photoshoots were netting 10 grand per shoot.

that's more like it, I reckon Steven will line up an XXX rated sex-tape, with all the proceeds going to charity, they could also do a live bang at his firework party
