He was on This Morning for a segment about burglaries whilst you're on holiday, protecting your house etc.

Dan should arrest Rylans dentist for orthodontic crime. Seriously, always thought Rylans own teeth were so much nicer.

I found him very immature and acted like a spiteful kid if he did not get his way........really surprised that Rylan fell for the little creep.

I wasn't a fan, though there were worse housemates in his year. He was a bit of an irritating busybody for my liking. That being said, the Dan/Jackie/Jemima "dead daughter" debate was hilarious.

I thought Dan was a great housemate - possibly my favourite of the Channel 5 era. Managed to be entertaining whilst also coming across as a really decent bloke

I liked Dan a lot, he and Gina were my favourites from BB14.
He left far too early and was another victim of a stupid twist just like Danielle. |

He was an expert on child abuse in the Met with over 10 years service. Apparently he felt it rather more important to ditch all that experience and training in the middle of Operation Yew Tree in order to get his face on Big Brother. No surprise that he would then ditch an established relationship to live with an attention seeking clown like Rylan Clarke.
The fact that he also has a teenage son from a previous relationship appears to indicate an unerring ability to place himself first and to the forefront in all judgement/decisions which confront him in life. What a Guy ................................ !!! |

Annoying in the extreme. Thankfully we were relieved of any more of his controlling nature by his unceremonious booting out...

I thought Dan was good value for a BB housemate. Always there in the firing line, not afraid to give his opinion, intelligent and charismatic to boot.
Yes he could be a pain in the ass sometimes, but he always seemed consistent in his views and opinions. That's quite rare in there. |

It may not have been that he decided to resign purely to enter BB. Perhaps he just felt like a change of career after ten years? Sometimes people just can't carry on in a particular job & doing so could put any particular case/investigation in danger of failure or for the sake of victims he may have felt that he wasn't able to apply himself properly. I'd prefer to see someone resign than carry on & contribute a half baked effort. |
