or wtte .

this was last night in the HL , Steven had just told christopher that when he got picked it was between him (steven) and christopher .
christopher was baffled by this , Helen immediately got up went in the LR told Pav to clear out and told chris ashleigh and mark not to tell christopher anything .

and they agreed !

it was never between steven and christopher , but now christopher thinks his pals almost chose him .

I was annoyed by Chris, Ashleigh and Marks reaction to Helen taking centre stage and dictating what they should say. I'd have told her to bolt. I also would have had a chat with Christopher and clarify to him that he was never a consideration because he is a close friend.

They are all wimps terrified of Helen, I think the thing she was telling them not to tell Christopher was what the ex housemates told them about the new housemates.
She wants to keep Christopher in the dark incase he accidently blabs to the new housemates what has been said.
I think Christopher is too honest and would just ask them outright about the comments instead the others want to keep it to themselves like some sort of control
Thought it was really bad that mark wouldn't tell pav what he had heard but told the Helen and the others

I thought Helen was upfront with everyone , isn't that her USP ?

she's a slimy little shit-stirrer , makes sure she gets all the gossip and then cons others into keeping it secret .

That was my interpretation too.

Most of the hms do seem to be terrified of Helen - pity no-one stands up to her because bullies should never win. Underneath the façade she's acquired since the formal warning for aggressive behaviour I believe Helen is just the same.

Mark was a slimy wee tart too last night not telling Pav what was said. He admitted he was talking about him behind his back but despite being asked, wouldn't say what he said.

Pav let him off lightly and should have had plenty to say back. Zoe didn't seem too bothered either when she found out. I'm growing to dislike her in the show the more I see of her. Helen's tits are more genuine........and her teeth.............and her lips...........oh her forehead too.........jeez, don't forget the ass.

I think you're basically right in what you say, but I'm not sure that it's a control thing, I think she wants to see if they "give themselves away" in any way which will show that Matthew and Danielle were right about them. You're completely right as to why she said don't tell Christopher though, he would definitely ask them outright what Matthew and Danielle meant when they said that.

The only blessing is knowing that on finals night, Helen will be out first to an unprecedented majority view. The only thing keeping her there is out lack of being able to do anything about it, but when (IF) we are allowed to decide, we will!

I'd do the same , taking him aside she will hardly know.

Getting the point being near the final now may as well forget avoiding confrontation & just be nice & respectful to friends.
The public decide after all & at this stage just go for it i say.

Did you pay attention to what she was saying. Suspend your dislike of the girl and put your listening ears on. She explained what she was saying quite well by telling them that Christopher brews on things so maybe least said soonest mended. Or words to that effect.

I think Helen was nervous about how much was said - that perhaps something was said about her past? She wanted to put a lid on EVERYTHING that was said to them in case something about her slipped through the net. Might be wrong, but that's what I thought.

Ohhh ... of course , she was concerned for Christopher

so why was she chucking Pav out the room ? and why shouldn't christopher hear what she and her pals have heard ?

I think you could be onto something. I was quite surprised she was prepared to slake her smoldering indignation for the sake of keeping the information between the smallest number possible but that could be it.

Not if it's a vote to win .. She appears to be picking up a few fans genre and there.

Maybe they think he is a snitch and can't be trusted?

Probably because he wasn't involved in the situation. It was only advisory. I doubt Helen thinks that they have to listen to her.

I don't know why she thinks she should be the only one to know that information and why the others agreed with her! Also how none of them can see the irony of her asking Mark questions for like an hour yet her getting pissed with Christopher for asking one thing.

I got the impression she was more just sick of listening to Christopher trying to 'analyse' the situation by going over and over it.

We haven't seen much of it, I'm guessing that could be why he's far less popular in the house than he is outside, because he will go on about things, like a sort of ersatz Detective Dan.

Bloody control freak in a big way that woman. I wish someone said no i'm of to tell him now. Mark is suppose to be going on a date with Christopher too but all he did was say yes Helen. Christopher is part of that house as much as anyone is obviously , Helen had no right to say that.

She didn't. She was sitting there when the cat was let out of the bag PRIOR to the conversation that you all seem to be twisting.

She's such a bullying weirdo, i was really hoping someone would say they had no intention of excluding him... What a birch!

With respect you lot are going on as if this was a master piece of manipulation which it patently wasn't as there were already conversations going on about it previously. Your forgetting that Pav is viewed as an outsider by the rest of the group. I suspect that may have contributed to it. Helen was quite definitely not being nasty and you can LOL around as much as you like.
