I have no idea what you even mean.

There were conversations about the power alliance and nommos going on prior to Helens conversation. Why is that hard to understand? It indicates that maybe she was genuinely concerned for Christopher.

This is what I got from it too. Much as I dislike Helen and the way she stood there 'taking charge', I think she was trying to stop Christopher going on and on which I think he does. I still like him though....

I don't think she has any genuine concern for Christopher, just herself and if anything was said about HER by the ex's.

Don't be daft. Honestly the anti Helen brigade are really straining out the gnat.

they all went on and on about it way more than christopher , they were still going on about it after this as well .

Helen had gotten it all out of mark and she wanted to limit what the rest of them learned .

plus - it was very noticeable that she did this straight after christopher was wrongly informed that his pals had nearly put him up .

It doesn't matter about prioir conversations she was clearly grilling Mark asking over and over about Ash and the newbies. It didn't seem like concern for Christopher when she was barking orders at the others saying how annoying he is when he asks questions.

Christopher's a grown man if he wants to ask how people think about him he's well in his rights to do whether the information would upset him or not.

I have just watched last nights HL's and yet again we are in the middle of the housemates who have been chosen for nomination unable to accept the reasons why they have been selected over the others. Who would Ash and Steven picked in the same situation? Would the ones they picked have reacted so badly?

This year has been the absolute worst year for this. They just don't understand they have to choose someone and they can't be everyone's favourite house mate all the time. Steven especially gets all upset because someone who he's not even that close with picked him he really thinks he's so much better than everyone else that he should always be exempt. Or Helen gets all arsey because a decisions been made that she would of done differently she doesn't seem to understand that when big brother asks someone to chose something it's not a big game of 'what would Helen do'.

From all wanting to save Christopher because he's best mates with them all, to them all siding with Helen to keep things from him!
I think Helen was trying to nip it in the bud to stop all the speculation from even really starting but Helen did say she wasn't getting involved then two seconds later told the alliance what they should do.

I'm sorry, but she basically dismissed Pav so she could have the conversation with the PHMs...which wasn't actually a conversation at all. She put her directive forward and no one had the balls to say no.

As others have pointed out, she, Steve and Ash had every opportunity to get all the information they wanted. They had the opportunity to get all of their questions answered. Then she decided that should be it. No more explanations or talking. Seriously? Really? I'd have told her to pi22 off...if anything it ended up alienating Pav, Zoe and Christopher.

Just when I have hope for her she has a period of time like she has this week and it's all the old garbage. Although she hasn't shown any growth, I do hope somewhere along the line she learns something about herself from her time in the house.

Yes, I was forgetting about Helen's psychology degree.

In Zoe's words: Away, man!

Go and watch it again. You saying "she was clearly ....." doesn't make it an incontrovertible fact.

Helen has had a hell of a grip on the entire house this year, I think if someone was to really standup to her she would crumble, and by standup I mean really standup, she treats others like s**t on her shoe, the latest HM to be singled out is Pav.....

0.44: Helen- "Why did Chris choose Ash?"
0.52:Helen- "Has he not noticed how much effort that guys made with him?"
3.20: Helen- "Who did Chris put up?"
3:24 Helen- "Who put who up? that's what I want I wanna know"

That's from one small clip, there was more in the main show but I'm not going through all that, so yes clearly.

They're scared stiff if her. They are just glad she didn't shout at them.

Helen is a strange, angry, desperately unhappy woman. Who I must concede needs sympathy and a great deal of psychotherapy.

In the twisted labyrinth that serves for her mind normal and humane responses are filtered through her experience and become perverted into an ersatz approximation of how an undamaged human being reacts.

There comes a point where one no longer takes umbrage of is offended by Helen or her actions and reactions.

That Christopher stunt being a case in point "Christopher is trying to understand a situation despite the fact he's not been given the full information. So don't give him the full information." To Helen that makes sense and I dare say she also believes that is how human beings act kindly.

Odd, strange, mixed up woman, look at her and pity her.

To me it was a bit strange. None of them actually said 'well he's our mate, so we're telling him' they all just sat there like nodding dogs. I did actually wonder if after Helen left, if they debated who could get their tongue the furthest up Helen's backside. It was actually pathetic.

So ok, I get that they want an easy ride and being ok with Helen is part of that, but seriously? Three of them together and they couldn't say anything but agree with her? That is a whole bag of patheticness!

Yeah i thought this too, it does seem the others are not too keen on Christopher, he must be doing something wrong.

And the way she just barged in when the power alliance were talking with Pav and told him to clear off. She wants all the information and others kept in the dark. Things were happening that she wasn't controlling so she had to barge in to take control.

Housemates are not always the best judges of character though. Just look at Steven who seems the most adored in there.
