Chris, Ashleigh and Mark SHOULD have said this...
We put Steven up to give the public what they want, and to more or less ensure that whoever else we put up won't go.
We put Ash up because from day one there's been a divide caused by Ashleigh rejecting him so he had to make do with matey hometown foghorn Helen instead. We put Pav up because he's a newbie and no-one wants newbies and they must go. We put Zoe up because he's a newbie and no-one wants newbies and they must go. Unfortunately that would be a fantasy, them coming clean like that, because they have to get on with playing the game and getting to the final. Unfortunately playing the game and getting to the final means having to be somewhat slimy and twisty, because it's Big Brother. |

They should have said, it is none of their business why we chose who we did! Clearly they are not going to put their friends up, the gargoyle has a free pass, so the choice was limited.
Stephen decided Ash should escape, he said he was happy to face eviction, so why is he moaning. This is a game and we are playing it. We are going to deliver Steven to the public because they dislike him as much as we do, Ash is too far up Helen's arse, and now that Pav and Polyanna have done what they were paid to do and got rid of Danielle they are no longer required, there is no point in them anyway. |

Yes, if all three had been upfront I wold have had more respect for them rather than throwing Zoe and Pav under a bus. All three were snakes and tried to lie themselves out of it by pretending to be upset and putting on fake tears that wasn't even there.
Quite unbelievable. So no, not unbelievable at all. |

Two "under the bus"s already, roll eyes. You wait ages for a bus, and then...

The house is very small, imagine what it is not being able to get away from the people who either hate you or you them. You need to sleep with them in the same room. It is hard - particularly if you don't have a gang around you. Helen is good in arranging her situation just the way she needed it to be. There is possibly a contract for her to get immunity, though it was made to look,by chance ( either Pauline was told who to choose or Helen told to become her best mate). Helen then has immunity and as she is pretty did attract a man To share a bed with (comforting in a situation like BB, couples feel strong together), then she showed the group straight from the beginning that going against her is suicidal, so a group of people started to follow her. Chris, Ashleigh and Christopher are all much more vulnerable there. There is comfort in them being together, but every bit of private conversation they have that is negative to Helen and her group is always exposed. They have nowhere to hide. |

I always think the best thing to do with someone who's complaining that you nominated them is just to turn the tables and ask them who they would've nominated then ?
they'd soon shut up . . |

They should have said.
Before we say anything let us talk to everyone individually , now please think about this and answer the questions truthfully. "You are the power HM and have to choose two alliances, then four people to put up. What are your choices and why." Then try and make them see that when it came down to a few choices that obviously they would pick the ones they are closest to. They might have put the new ones up first but I am pretty sure Ashleigh and Chris would have been up for quite a few people. I would also use the example of Helen when she was talking about her free pass and making choices between Mark and Christopher. |

When did Ashleigh reject Ash? Not saying it didn't happen, just that I missed it. Was it really excruciating?

It's a tangent creator and I shouldn't have put it in there, sorry folks. We put Ash up because two of us have always put Ash up and the other had only just joined us and was outnumbered but he didn't put up much of a fight anyway actually. |

I'd have done what they did. Felt panic, soothed hurt feelings, softened the truth, avoided inflaming an already agitated Helen and Steven. And I'm someone who gets criticised in real life for being too forthright. But I'd like to think I'm also not bloody stupid. There's a time and place for uncompromising frankness. That wasn't it. |

Seeing as you rolled your eyes, someone's bound to take offence and, well you know what they'll do to you.. If you hear the rumble of a heavy goods type vehicle approaching. RUN! ![]() Right I've said too much already. There's serial killer bus drivers about. You ain't seen me right? |

How about " we are not allowed to discuss it or the whole house will be punished " no backtracking , crocodile tears or arse licking necessary

'Ashleigh kept on saying she was Lead Power Housemate, as voted for the public. So we just did what she said. If you've got any problems with what happened, take it up with her!' - Chris and Mark.
That would have been good. And not entirely inaccurate, let's face it. |

Steven - because he is in love with Kimberley, and whilst we know that he has been bravely soldiering on without her, we all felt that deep down he's desperate to be with her as she is ill. We were only thinking about the two of them. Ash - the advise from all three of the ex- housemates is that in the diary room Ash has consistently been saying that he is desperately hoping to be evicted. We cannot say anymore, as we don't want to upset Helen. We thinks it's a matter that they need to discuss in private. Pav - 'cos he is newbie, so our first loyalty had to be with some of the originals who we have been close to. Zoe - as above for Pav. But they should not have given her a sex change in the process of their explanation as OP has done (1 all). Last edited by eva_prior : 24-07-2014 at 16:21. Reason: Autocorrect errors |

I would have said:
We picked you, Steven, because you remind us of Fred West and simply cannot sleep at night with you in the house. We picked you, Ash, because you are an angry, greasy, one-dimensional bore . Lyrically, of course. We picked you, Pav, because we only just noticed you and thought you were an intruder. Security are on their way. We picked you, Zoe, because you are the sort that breaks into song and dance over the slightest thing and are no less annoying than the imaginary love child of Lionel Blair and Bonnie Langford. Anybody for a cup of tea? |
