A check has been run and it would appear that unless Stephen has had an absolutely STORMING year (as his next accounts are not due yet) he is not quite as well off as he claims

I think the numbers have already been run. But--yeah--Kimberley's in for a rude awakening.

In fairness the numbers represent the balance sheet and not post dividend profits. Without full accounts the real picture can't be established. To publish these abbreviated accounts the company must meet 2 out of the following 3 requirements in the year -
Annual turnover must be £6.5 million or less
The balance sheet total must be £3.26 million or less
The average number of employees must be 50 or fewer.

Make of that what you will

I'm self employed and if my books looked that bad and I had a lavish lifestyle like he says he does the tax and vat inspectors would all over my books, in any business you need a certain amount cash in your accounts to keep it going or have huge overdrafts and loans to keep it going.

I'm no expert in the profitability of window blinds but I can't imagine he's taking millions out of a company which had just £11k worth of stock in its latest accounts

Do even the most famous window blinders turn over millions in profit a year?

I have no clue about this type of business. They may custom order or carry stock on consignment. I too doubt that it looks like a major business but the numbers available simply don't give a full enough picture. We need Stevo to publish his tax returns

Didn't I read somewhere that he has property that he rents out? That's not going to be covered by the accounts of the window blinds company, is it?

Perhaps that's the reason for the Fauxmance—it's a marketing tool.

But he did say that he wanted a prenup to protect the business which implies that's worth something. It doesn't really all stack up.
