They've been doing this to Ashleigh since the start. On early bits of limited live feed, she was always laughing and joking in the background but on highlights, she barely existed till she started bitching with Toya. When Ashleigh gets out, she won't recognise herself.

We certainly need to hear more of the chilling out conversations that housemates have together, the stuff that live feed was made for.

I don't know though, if that little speech at the end of the episode ensures Steven's eviction then I'm okay with it.

What was weird was we could hear Ashleigh talking really loudly but when Steven started talking about her it cut to a shot of her sitting in silence next to Chris...even though we could still hear her voice.
