I totally agree on this, they were quick to play others directly back to the house mates they should have done the same with her and of course the other quotes

Someone had said why is Steven behaving like this and she said, that the above was her theory, that Steven was doing it to try to make the public like him again, to show that he WAS a fun person, she wasn't being bitchy just saying why she thought he'd been like he had over the last week. BB just took out the line they did to make it look bad. Unfortunately Helen is not too good at explaining things and sometimes says it in the wrong way. That, and her flat Mancunian accent, make her sound like she's being nasty, when a lot of the time it's not meant in the way it comes out. Same with the effing tramp remark, she didn't actually say that Kim was one, that was taken from the convo she had with Ash about what she usually thought when watching anyone having sex on BB, what an effing tramp, she said she felt bad about saying that as they (Kim and Steven) been at it. Helen's biggest downfall is that she speaks without thinking about it first, and it quite often comes out sounding different to how it's meant to because she's not socially adept.”

I agree. She also does herself no favours by prefacing everything with the F bomb, it makes things sound much more aggressive especially with her loud monotone accent. Ive lived in Manchester and met loads of people who talk like her and Ash, so I know it's a 'thing'. I take a lot of their effing and jeffing lightly.

But still, it was ironic last night that she was upset about having her own quotes misrepresented (and they were) because of how bad she sounded but she also casually called Jale a "fat knobhead". What a strange moral disconnect. It was an abusive hurtful comment said shamelessly in front of everyone. One is bad but not the other?

I don't know if that's because she has no self control/self-awareness. Or if she doesnt like being portrayed as two-faced when she prides herself on being one of those "I'll say it to your face" people. Or if she only feels bad when she's trash talked someone she cares about, not someone irrelevant to her like Jale or Christopher. It looks at times like she's running this weird moral double standard, where if you're in her posse, there's a code. If you're not, then she can be as abusive and cold as she wants. It 'doesn't count' because she doesn't care about you.

When she hears something she's said repeated back and is forced to confront how bad she sounds, she does seem genuinely contrite or outraged. But even then she'll downplay it as "me being a d***head" which gives an illusion of accountability with no real attempt at changing.

Some of you people need to get out on the streets a bit more. The way Helen speaks is no different to most youngsters out on the street. Street talk.

She wouldn't have cared about those comments as she doesn't have a bond with those people.
She is very fond of Steven and wouldn't want to hurt him - the fact is the words were used out of context .

Personally, I think it sounded worse than showing the clip and the context. She was slightly misrepresented but let's be honest, they could have chosen from dozens of bad examples. She's said terrible stuff. Instead, they deliberately tried to jeopardise her closer relationships, eg with Steven and Kim. That's quite malevolent of BB.

But I was frustrated that BB didn't repeat more details to her in the diary room. They've allowed her to labour under an illusion that she'd have said it jokingly or with others around. I was wanting that bubble burst so she could learn how badly she communicates and comes across.

I totally agree with this - then they'd have all seen how out of context the quotes were.

Not sure if you've seen the post I just made above, but I talked about her weird moral code. Personally, I don't think it's acceptable to behave horribly to people you don't care about. So whilst I do think BB are shits for trying to damage her closer relationships, there's something morally 'off' if she'd feel no outrage or shame about having some of her inexcusable comments about other HMs repeated. I mean, she called Jale a "fat knobhead" almost in the same breath. The hypocrisy was kind of staggering.

So that means what exactly? Is it acceptable?

Oh great!

I don't know where you live, Love, or who you hang around with, but I can assure you that my daughter, nor any of her friends conduct themselves like that .... and they're 10 years younger than that potty mouthed harridan!

Oh I see ... so in Helen's world it's OK to slag anyone who's not in your circle to high heaven. Hang on .... didn't she say about Kim "If she were a dog no one would have her" or something? Yet more hypocrisy.

Must have missed that lil beauty from the potty mouthed cow - hypocrisy of the highest form.

Helen has come to "redeem" herself on BB to prove she's not who she was anymore - does anyone think it's working?

Yep that's exactly what I'm saying - that's how it is in Helens world.

Rather like on here too .........people rant and say outrageous things about HM's but then get mortally offended at the slightest criticism of their favourite.

Life isn't black and white - there are grey areas in everything.
