I got that beat. I worked with a woman in her late 20s who'd never heard of the holocaust, not just the word, the actual slaughter of millions of Jews in WW2. She was only vaguely aware of the name Hitler but wasn't sure if he was a goodie or a baddie.
And another woman who thought Wales was an island and who, on a trip to Yorkshire,
thought she was in Scotland
