I don't dislike Pav . I haven't seen him go from 'group to group' as claimed - just seemed like he was trying to get to know people.

I might be 'off beam' here but the reasoning behind this may be due to conflicting religions.
I think Jale is Turkish. Approx. 99% of Turkish citizens class themselves as Muslim.
From the genesis of Sikhism to the present day, there is extreme animosity between these two religions.
I cannot fathom any other rationale for her vocalised 'hate' of him.

I don't think there's any reason to suppose that "people" dislike Pav.
He's ranking neck and neck with fellow newbie and white female Zoe on the latest popularity poll here. I doubt either her ethnicity or his, has anything to do with them both coming roughly in the middle of the poll.
