It should be smarmy Steven to go but don't rule out last minute shenanigans aimed at keeping him in."

I read it and thought - spot on!”

Yep, yep, yep!

the metro's sentiments have been voiced by so many over the last few weeks. Thank you Metro for aiding our concerns. ' Producers Out,' maybe' Big Brother out.' I think both would have effect, maybe both said together? What is important is that it is a clear statement of criticism so there is no doubt at all what the viewers think.

This is what's wrong with this years bb it's just far to fixed that's why I'm having trouble with it. Doesn't seem like big brother to be at all. Makes me think everything is scripted so the producers get the winner they want this year, as I'm sure they didn't want Sam to win last year. There's just no point in even voting now waste of time and conning viewers with all these twists.
If they want bb to change and it's definite been more like a game this year, they should have it became like American bb where the public don't vote, but they would never do this as they want our money. It's a insult to us to be honest. Helens pass to the final is a total joke.
She should have been out week 1. Plus bringing in new house mates for storyline so late is just pathetic. It's like big brother just makes up the rules as they see fit.

So even Metro are crybaby Ashleigh fans throwing their toys out of the pram because their favourite is up for eviction again. Hilarious! Nobody takes such a pointless paper or tabloid 'journalism' in general seriously anyway but this is a new level of pathetic

Despite the fact that they want it cancelled for everyone just because 'they' don't like it, they obviously watch it and know a lot about the show, they can't hate it that much then, eh? If they think this year is bad they must have missed all of last year's shambles

Metro is spot on. Biggest load of BB shit ever. No consideration to what the public want at all. Very little real entertainment this year.

well said Metro!

I wish there was a thumbs up smiley for expressing satisfaction at a thread.

It's all bang on. As people can see, Steven is nailed on to go tonight, so if they pull another stroke tonight, it will really prove their contempt for the viewing public.

Yes, it's been incredibly manipulated and fixed, but it's been so blatant that i haven't actually minded it. For me, the extreme manipulation has given it a different feel to other BB's, so 15 years on i'm not going to complain about that!
It's never got as nasty as i thought it was going to become and there hasn't been any 'horror hm's' who've ruined the series, so all in all i think it's been an OK series.
The 'good old days' have long gone and are never coming back! I think it's best to just try and enjoy it for what it is now while it's still around, rather than to look back.

Last year's was the first half decent series since switching to channel 5, despite the lack of live feed.

Producers then show they've learnt nothing from that, embarking on a course of slash-and-burn arrogance.

You don't class a sociopath like Helen as a horror housemate?

Jesus wept.

Yeh, me too. I think they might be sorry they put that forward for viewers to complete. I can't see them getting many good comments.

if she's that bad why have so many of the hm's gravitated towards her?
Even the likes of Ashleigh have become more friendly towards her.

Fear from being on the wrong side of her.

Don't be sure that those good ol' days wont return? Channel 5 are well in the know that they have ****ed more people off than have liked it. You only have to look through DS, Twitter and others to see that and when Channel 5 goes public with surveys instead of a panel like most channels their motives are glaringly obvious.

Lol, it's getting beyond parody

There have been many twists over the course of this BB including an identical one where Toya thought she was immune from eviction (couldn't be nominated) but was then chosen to go up for eviction, and everyone applauded it !
No one batted an eyelid when Marlon was booted out without a public vote (which surely fly's in the face of everything Big Brother stands for).
etc etc.......
But now Ashley was chosen out of 3 people to go up BY THE HOUSEMATES NOT THE PRODUCERS everyone is crying
Would there be this fuss if they had chosen Mark instead?....... of course not.
And if this twist had happened to someone like Steven or Ash would people be up in arms about it?......... of course they wouldn't, there would be dancing in the streets & total acceptance.
Just like the total acceptance on Sunday when Ashleigh was magically named the power housemate in dodgy circumstances to say the least..
There was no mention of a vote on BOTS or BOTP, and no mention of it on the C5 website. The last time there was a vote for the power housemate it was mentioned on both BOTS & the website so why not now?
Instead it was apparently posed on the app (that only about 3 people have) as a hypothetical question, 'who would you choose for the next power housemate' or something..... It didn't actually say 'you're voting for the next PHM'.
People who say it was legit and they knew they were actually voting for the next PHM are full of it.
There was no mention of it on here, or any other of the forums, or youtube comments.
And none of the fan sites on twitter or telly mix had any clue about it otherwise they would have been the first to mention it.
It was one of the dodgiest moments of the series but everyone was fine about it !! Yet if something like that had happened favoring one of Helen's gang instead of Ashleigh & Chris there would be rioting outside the BB house
The hypocrisy is hilarious

But the funniest thing is the campaigns of people who are going to SEND ANOTHER MESSAGE TO THE PRODUCERS!!!......... by giving them lots of money voting multiple times for one of Ashleigh's rivals again

Like I say, beyond parody

As I recall, quite a lot of people on here did more than bat an eyelid.

That happened in an alternative universe, so those of us that live in this one will never know.
