Putting aside that Helen has, quite frequently, been a rather unpleasant individual, she is most certainly not a deserving winner if only for the fact that she's basically had a free ride to the final and hasn't really been challenged at all or had to overcome any adversities.
A deserving winner is someone who is repeatedly thrown "curve balls" by the show which they have to rise to and emerge strong and triumphant. Increasingly this looks like Ashleigh, who has been serially 'betrayed' by Big Brother gifting Helen et al ammunition to use against her in the form of revealed Diary Room conversations etc. whilst seldom, if at all, being rewarded with similarly damning information to use against them.
Over the last few weeks it has looked a lot like the production were hell-bent on giving Ashleigh, Christopher and Danielle (and to a lesser extent Chris) a metaphorical kicking whilst pretty much leaving Steven, Helen, Mark, Winston and Ash alone.
That was partly redressed last night when Helen's choice comments about, inter alia, Steven were finally revealed to the house, but it all seems a bit late in the day and tokenistic, an attempt to limit the accusation that they had been deliberately and grossly unfair to certain HMs.
Helen hasn't had to do a thing to get to the final (except not get chucked out) and BB have pretty much left her to it, ergo she cannot possibly be a 'deserving winner'.
Only Ashleigh or Christopher have really been "put through the wringer" enough to have earned it, maybe Chris. The rest have pretty much coasted along.
