This is in light of comments on last nights BOTS and the endless whinging on here. I just want to point out one tiny but important detail the moaners may have overlooked. When Ashleigh lost her immunity during the power housemate twist it was because the nominated hm's chose her. Would you be making as much fuss if it had been Chris or Mark? I think not!

A lot of people do care because they have been barraging social media since it happened.

But the fact remains that Ashleigh was told by IRIS in the Control Room that because she had been chosen by the public she would be immune from any nomination this week - BB changed the rules - that is why people on here are upset - it's not because she was chosen by the nominated housemates - or at least that's they way I see it.

Yes I would , it makes no difference to me who they chose , those HM's were promised immunity , that should have been honoured , the same way Mark's £ 5,000 and Helen's pass to the final have been.
If they can take away Immunity from eviction , then they can take away the other benefits that have been bestowed on other HM's .
Fair's Fair .

No I don't believe that for a second. It was because Ashleigh was chosen.

And what some people can't seem to understand, it wasn't the fact it was done to Ashleigh, it was the fact that BB duped the public and went back on their work, and keep moving the goalpost to suit the nasty group aka helen and her lapdogs.

To me, the problem was that she was told she was immune.

Then she wasn't immune.

I don't care why or who put her up - it's an irrelevance to me, the same way I would be irritated if the same happened to any of the other HMs instead of Ashleigh.

It's the BB producers that I'm annoyed with for a total lack of any sort of consistency and just make it up as they go along.

No it wasn't. I would have been equally upset if it was Chris or Mark as they had all been told they were immune. One doesn't have to be an Ashleigh admirer to see unfairness.

I'm neither a lover or hater of AShleigh, I was mad at the 'twist' because of the broken promise of immunity, NOT at who was chosen, I would have felt the same whoever had been picked, and cheated out of their safety.

It's very presumptuous of the OP to assume he knows what every FM is thinking.

Nothing to do with that .......Ashleigh is a cash cow ...............they know people will be ringing in their thousands some of them multiple times to save Ashleigh.

I noticed we didn't get this amount of moaning when the same happened to Toya. But of course it's Ashleigh isn't it?

I thought, exactly the same momma. OP asks a question, doesn't like the answer and give their own answer as fact.

I would not presume anything here to me it was about bb saying one thing to the public then changing it thy have disregarded the public this year from day one it did not mater to me wether it was Chris Helen or any of them but let's be honest here thy are quick to say thy can't remove Helens pass but th can from the other house mates

Exactly. Ashleigh was told she was immune from eviction for this week in the same way that Helen was told she was immune til the end of the series. The only difference is that Ashleigh's promise was a BIG FAT LIE.

It's a vote to evict not save.

When Toya went, the public weren't led to believe that the PHMs were immune - only the housemates were. The fact that this time a press release went out to say that the Power Alliance were all immune is what has piss*d most people off. They changed the rules at the last minute and it doesn't matter who it was that was chosen.

I know that and just like last time the Ashleigh supporters are campaigning against the opposition - this time Steven - last time Jale. It's all money at the end of the day whether it's to save or evict.

I think BB was a bit sly in taking away her immunity. But I think they were sly in knowing that this would up the victim status and drive her fans to the phones in droves to vote out her competition.

Yeah which ever housemate it was i'd care because it was said very clear in the control room , it feels more like a promise said there. But anyway it's done now even most Ashleigh fans are over it now seems the haters aren't though lol

Reality - SOME people would've been upset no matter who it happened to, and SOME people are only upset because it's Ashleigh, yet would've blown it off or made excuses had it been someone else. Just like if it had been Mark, that same first group would've been upset, and there would've been a second group of Mark fans (there have to be some somewhere) upset only because it was happening to Mark.

What's the point in starting a thread if you're just gonna respond to replies with automatic gainsay?

This^^^

And I was also pissed off that Toya and Matthew weren't immune also. I really liked both of them.
