I wouldn't mind if Ash won
AntiInternet

I really disliked him during the first few weeks, but he has now become one of my favourites (in a series filled with probably the most unlikeable people ever, I must add).

He has a calming presence that the house needs, and I think without him the house would just be full of constant hysteria and paranoia. And I think it's been nice to see his relationship with Helen develop.

Anyone else think he's a dark horse? I thought he was a goner the week Matthew went, but I'm glad he stayed.

I still think Winston will win, but if we're going on 'worthy' winners I'd choose Ash at this point in the series.

Sorry, but a big fat NO!! Ash winning will be Helen winning.

I would, apart from sitting with Helen and laughing at people what's he done.

Ash is a nasty git...nothing likeable whatsoever.

No it wont
Why do people not get this show, you go in on your own,you leave on your own,If Ash wins ( he has no chance but ) if he wins it will be because viewers liked him,not helen.

Without Helen, he would have a good chance of at least getting to final 3. I don't think he will though. I do like him more now though and he wouldn't be the worst winner...

I think I could have liked him more if Helen wasn't still there. If things had happened naturally and she'd gone I think he could have done much better.
I was starting to enjoy his laid-back humour but his stubborn defense of Helen even when she's wrong and his couple of slip-ups, like calling Jale a maggot, means I haven't been able to fully root for him.

Has he stubbornly defended her? I remember when he stood up to her when she made that comment about the alcohol, and I was pleasantly surprised because it showed he's not just her lapdog.

Helen winning will be funnier.

As housemates leave on finals day Marcus tells them "you have been evicted", even though it was a vote to win.

As Helen is immune from eviction she has to be the last one standing. She's already won.

He's certainly jumped in on arguments to attack the people she's arguing with. Turning it into a tag team effort. That sort of numbers game has been what has killed this series for me.

Is that just a nice way of saying that he has done sod all from start to now because if it is then I agree with you. But sadly I think you mean it.

And the relationship with him and Helen does nothing for me either - quite the reverse in fact.

I just think the house is full of awful people this year, and I've seen moments from him where he's come across as a nice, decent guy. But of course I remember he's had his bad moments, but the point is; everyone has! Christopher has been a fence sitter, and Chris has been really bitchy recently, so for me Ash, currently, is the only person who I think would be a worthy winner, for his ability to reign the group in and not overreact when they all start going mad.

Here we go again with this utter rubbish *sigh*

I dislike Ash in his own right. Nothing to do with Helen. Didn't like him from the start. It's irrelevant whether I like Helen or not.
I've always found him smarmy, oily, too laddish and immature for my liking and the fact he has turned out to be "ok" doesn't wash with me either. Those boos for him weeks back shook him to the core ..... that's the only reason he's toned it down.
He could be bezzie mates with Chris and Ashleigh and I still wouldn't like him.

He's done nothing to deserve winning, and done a few things to give reasons why he shouldn't.

I would mind. He's about as interesting as a plank of wood, in fact if they evicted him and replaced him with said plank no-one would notice the difference.

I wouldn't mind him winning, but he won't. If he makes the final he would be the first out I think.
However I would prefer Christopher to win.
It does annoy me when people can't separate Ash from Helen .He isn't Helen and although I agree he has occasionally been a plonker, (maggotgate);there is barely a hm this year that hasn't uttered some cruel bitchy remark.

Boring and useless. Not a winning combination.

As an HM Ash has been dull to watch, so has Winston they really don't add much to the show.....

Since he adjusted his behaviour after hearing boos and has had his frontal lobes scraped he is like a 78rpm record being played on a 33 speed.
