That's a real shame! If you were my mate I would have loved to hear all about where you had been and what you had been doing, who you had met etc.

I hope you don't mind me saying, but if you had to be 'careful' what you said around friends and family just in case they got jealous, they weren't very good friends, and surely your family knew travel was part of your job? Not being able to afford to travel themselves would have been irrelevant?

Or a Susan Boyle tribute act. She's the spitting image!!!

What amuses me re all of this is that she was mimicking a zombie/borrrrrrrring face when referring to Tesco workers, when she actually dated Anfoneeee Hutton for six years.

*rolls own eyes as there's no smiley for it*

Basically my point as well.

Nah I like to keep magazines like that in the public domain.

What's so bloody fascinating about show biz anyway?
I can hear it now...
Went on stage. Sang. Received nice applause from sycophantic audience. Went to party and quaffed champers with other self-entitled celebs. Congratulated each other on being too, too marvellous dahling. Went to bed then got up and did the same again.

No matter what you do for a living, only one or two anecdotes are really going to interest someone who isn't in your line of work. Find some other topics of conversation why don't you? Or is the point of this the inference that minor celebs can only talk about themselves? How riveting.

So, she only has things in common with successful people,so called normal people wouldn't be able to keep up with her it's a great shame she has this kind of stuck up attitude because now,us normal people are going to vote the ignorant cow out...There are are lot of us normal people out there that have been through a lot, and could tell some interesting life stories, and other things that madam would not be able to keep up with..far more interesting than being an XF reject and girlfriend of planko anthony hutton...

Blimey - looking at the evidence shown, most of the HMs will be trawling greenhouses for mates when the show's finished.

My group of friends is wide and diverse, if I like someone I like them and that's all there is to it. I haven't any Costa Rican friends though that's a sore subject.

the only thing that interests me about Zoe is that..she was with Darius in Pop Idol!!! so I would be asking her all about him.

What puzzles me is, as far as she was concerned, civilian BB would have been comprised of 'normal' non-showbiz people, so why apply in the first place if she felt she wouldn't have anything in common with them?

. Well not quite like that but I see your point.

And mine are diverse in many ways, but I have a professional job, so does my husband, we own our home, have horses, like car racing, enjoy skiing and choose cinema, theatre and dinning out as our main social activities.
So many of our friends share those interests.
I don't have a single friend who isn't able to find a job, doesn't drive a car or lives in social housing . That's not deliberate, it's simply circumstantial.

I think her comment is being interpreted incorrectly, but I'm not deluded enough to think that will make a scrap of difference to people who just want to waffle on about it.

How do you interpret the comment? I'm trying to read into it from different angles but it just sounded so judgmental.
I don't wanna waffle on but I was a little offended. I have a retail job but I didn't think that meant my stories and life experiences are worthless.

As she is in a house full of successful people she doesn't have to worry in the same way that they will think she is showing off.

I worked in a show for 12 years which travelled all over the world and I was always conscious of how things could sound when speaking to friends and family, ie if I came out with 'yes I'm going to Argentina next week for a few weeks, then I have to go to Mexico for 2 months, then Bangkok etc etc'. Rubbish! When you people ask you what you've been doing, you do not have to say "oh I have to go Mexico for 2 months" you could just as easily say that you have go away for work - you CHOOSE to say that you're going away to Mexico and you reason you choose to say is because you think [hope] that it will impress people. What do you do when you're in Mexico - you work, just like the rest of us.

You're showing off and you know it.
