Now that it's backfired and everyone is suspicious of him, suddenly he's the new forum underdog that must be supported despite being a pretty much worthless, throwaway excuse for a housemate.

There's nothing to be baffled about. It came from his VT and conversations with Biannca and Zoe. Simple as that.
