I would have been alright on Ubuntu one time, not now as I'm SUSE, lol! I know what you mean though, the whole thing is a sham & I really think they have lost the plot this series. I think they all go out for a night of binge drinking & someone sits there sober & makes notes!!

I think the only purpose of this is to help production identify the pecking order for the housemates and for them to alter the edits for the housemates based on that.

Same as the Microsoft surface tablets.

I agree , would not vote even if I could .

I seriously dislike being manipulated so blatantly .

Yes a high proportion of viewers may have access to the app,
But in reality they have alienated a lot of people with a one platform app.”

Yes, fair enough. They really should have done an app for android too. Though non smartphone people would complain of course.

Everyone knows someone with an iPhone though I bet, so I suggest people who want to vote get a mate or family member to download it and vote that way.

That's a bit different......I think the fact it is called the O2 Arena is the big away why! Apple don't even sponsor the poxy show!!!!

They should have had a web vote, then that only excludes those that are not online.

Like dead people, coma patients and my uncle derek who is in prison in segregation for alleged offences against netmeeting users in the early 2000's.

This is true. It does not profit Big Brother for a housemate to walk away with the show. They like it to be a close run thing.

So expect more Inspector Winston and Angry Ash tasks to bolster certain housemates' fanbase lol.

Mark will probably get a special task soon too lol.

And also remember last year they did something similar in BB14's later stages where Gina won, a few days later they introduced the Queen Bee task.

He seemingly plays a major part in every shopping task anyway

O2 do not own the O2 Arena, merely have naming rights. I was referring to Brixton Academy and Shepherds Bush Empire and the like.

And yes, Apple certainly have paid Big Brother a lot of money. It has to be more money than Big Brother is losing from phone votes, so it is clearly a LOT of money.

"Exclusivity" is a major plus for brand awareness.

Well looking on this forum Ashleigh will not only have immunity but will win every task and benefit from every twist as these app voters all love her. How bloody boring

If Big Brother think Ashleigh is running away with it, they will set out to trip her up, and promote other housemates.

It will end up a close run thing. Big Brother will see to it lol.

I think she had a rough deal last week, but we need to have a week of surprises not all the benefits going one way. She has very devoted followers lucky girl

O2 at least pay for those naming rights though & it is evident to the public! If what you say is true then it is a pity they can't make that public knowledge instead of shafting their viewers! Endemol are obviously all about making money rather than audience viewer ratings so I wonder how Channel 5 feel about that if everyone who doesn't have an iPad just f**ked the series off!! If it's Channel 5 who have done it then they deserve people to f**k the series off!!!!

So the only people allowed to make this decision are the people with Apple products who happen to have installed the app - what a good cross section that is !!! Also I'd imagine that given there will be so few , it would be easy for BB staff to rig the vote as they wish.

( actually , on reflection , they wouldn't need to rig it there ...they'd just wait , and rig it if the result coming out differed from their ' preferred scenario' ).

I think you've probably been manipulated enough already. But if you've got any cash left, by all means keep voting for this year's People's Princess! As if she would lift a finger to help you out if the situation was reversed!

To vote on the app is FOC for certain votes ie this Immunity in this case.......

To evict you pay 99p for 2 votes..........(which I've never done)......

I voted for immunity for Ashley........you can only vote once to do this........

With regard to promoting the app.....I agree - but there's an app for most things now !!

Delete app and reinstall vote as many times as you like.
