I don't think she was joking? She was basically saying she wouldn't have interesting conversations with normal working class people, and gave the example as someone who works for tesco.

She started out by saying that everyone in the house is successful, and suggested that she'd struggle to find conversation with "normal" people, for example, people who work in Tesco, citing her "stories and life experience".
