When all's said and done, dear Zoe should be grateful to Tesco workers, after all, they will be helping to put her next album into the bargain basement bucket by the tills - meow!!
Actually, thinking about this topic has just reminded me about a comment made my Zoe's mother (possibly last night?) when she was on the phone to BOTS. At the time the comment struck me as 'off'. Anyone else remember she spoke after Matthew and said something to the effect 'well Zoe will go back to her singing after BB, what will Matthew do?'. Maybe Zoe and her mother have the same opinion on us 'normals' now that Zoe is such a big showbiz star?? As if people with ordinary jobs are not worth the time of day.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it but as I said I didn't like the comment when it was made and it now strikes me as similar to these comments by Zoe.

She was in the original London cast of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" and she was in "Thriller Live" as well.
She's a lovely singer, but that does not necessarily make her less of a bore to talk to than your average person.

I totally agree with you, and you're spot on (bib)

Thanks Scarlett Berry - glad it's just not me! When I heard the mother I thought what a snobby comment to make but didn't post on here because I thought I may be being overly sensitive!
I absolutely hate that sort of attitude and the idea that success is measured by wealth and fame. As a society we'd certainly notice a dearth of shop workers before we noticed if all the luvvies went missing!

I heard the Matthew comment too. It was oddly catty and seemed unnecessary.
Oops, poor Zoe has let her mask slip. I'm surprised she was stupid enough to voice her true opinions. Keepin' it real I suppose.
Presumably she doesn't want Tesco employees, their friends or families to buy her music or attend her shows, never mind spend their hard earned money on saving her from the door.
I used to work in a supermarket, but it was nowhere near as famous as Tesco, so I suppose that makes me even "lower than a Tesco worker", in Zoe's eyes.
I'm very disappointed in Zoe. I did believe in her jolly, down to earth personality. But having watcher her say this comment, I now think she is a snob.
..... and another thing, what on earth does she mean by saying that the HM's are all successful - more so than a tesco worker ????
So by her reasoning, Helen for example is successful because she is an ex prostitute and she has years of experience in the business therefore she is deemed eligible to enter into a worthy discussion with moon face.

Maybe you're right. But it still doesn't look good because she's still effectively saying that she can't relate to a normal person who may work in Tesco's.
Which I would imagine to be important as any fans she has will more than likely be 'normal' people.
