This is the dilema that will never be solved:
Older, longer bb viewers think returning to the roots and casting Helens would be a success and viewing figures would go through the roof.
Producers think no as they are dated and people would not watch them, well the audience they wont

Maybe the producers should try having 50% ordinary people and 50% people with agents? I know it's a crazy idea, but it might just work...

I loved the early BB's, great HM's, no messing with noms and with the live feed I felt like I really got to know the HM's. I suppose a lot of the current viewers would find it all rather tame. I don't suppose Bubble falling over in the living room or the mild flirtation of Helen & Paul building up to a love affair would grip the nation now.

I agree. BB2 was my favourite ever series and I do miss those more innocent times. Though I'm not sure that such a series would go down well now in these scripted reality days
Helen is without doubt one of the Top 10 HM's of all time.
There aren't many HM's whose classic phrases you remember ....and Helen was on 13 years ago!

I remember her getting all excited over her eviction dress and running in the house to get it to show Dean. They were supposed to be fire watching - she failed the task. It was a lovely dress though
