They should rebrand the app as an acronym 'Ashleigh's proof of popularity'

No it isn't I am a huge Ashleigh fan but I want her to win fairly and squarely that is why every one should have the vote not just the I phone 5s or similar

Except an intelligent person wouldn't use such faulty logic. There is wisdom in the saying 'A fool and their money are easily parted'
Most technically savvy people I know use the alternatives to Apple

This. Everyone should have an equal opportunity to vote, and once again they only seem interested in a younger audience.

It's all another part of the depressing story of how this lot (producers), are running BB into the ground.
It began with Pauline being told to give a pass to the final, to someone... (She choose Helen and we all know that she came to that decision without ANY influence from the production team) ........ Sorry that was me coughing.
It continued with Marlon and Danielle being ejected without a public vote... Who goes YOU decide... Yeah.
And now this.
The sooner another channel takes over, the better... Otherwise BB is finished.

It's a very unfair system ....

The GBP, are the voters, so all of the GBP should be entitled to a vote. I do have the app, but think it's very unfair, that those that don't, can't vote. BB should have a phone number for voters without the app.

I have the app but it is unfair, I voted for Ashkeigh.

It is all a plan to make Ashleigh immune though, she is golden girl.

I would think that the spread of users who do have access to this vote will be roughly proportionate to the people watching the show.

Kneejerk reaction, although given the partisan politics Inside the house, it might be welcome to some.

I entirely agree.

And the reason it isn't is obviously to to with product placement and promotion.

I have the app and I voted for Ashleigh but I think it's unfair. If I didn't have the app and a house mate I didn't like became immune because of it, I wouldn't like it.

When they reveal who it is, it will be said " The Public have made so'n so immune ". It really should be said it's those with the app who have made them immune. IMHO.

So yeah, it's unfair.”

The % of Apple devices running the required operational system is much smaller.

I would think, the spread of people surveyed for their voting intentions for the next general election, is roughly proportionate to the voting intentions of the population of the UK. But if you suggested replacing the latter with the former, there would be rioting in the streets.

Hope no DS users really do not go out and buy an Apple Device, just to vote for who they want saved, as it would really be a waste of money, to which you could use to go on holiday, buy some clothes etc.

To Tie yourself into a 30 odd pound a month contract, or over 500 pound iPhone would be crazy

I wonder what the app permissions are for the bb app, does it read account data giving your age and sex?
