Rylan (producers more like) gave Steven an engagement ring and pushed him into a situation to propose to Kim on air.
When she was seated he closed the ring box and said that when he proposed it would be in private.

Rylan handed Stephen a ring on BOTS to try and get him to propose to Kim, Stephen took the ring beckoned Kim over and then said Kim was marriage material but his proposal would be in private then he threw the ring back to Rylan. Kim looked to be panicking when she thought he was going to propose.
