That emotion or feeling would be shock or confusion not regret and unhappiness though.

I wonder if Ashleigh is feeling the same now. Obviously she wouldn't if it was Pav.

I think he's just trying to get the target off his and Ashleigh's backs for nominations this week, especially as BB had revealed Steven's rule break to the house. Just upping his game as they enter the final few weeks. I doubt he feels Steven is any loss

What? Today? Can you elaborate on what happened?

Just the other day he was saying he's never met anyone so boring and now he's sad he's gone?

Didn't Steven scorn the others for passing him a few cans on the night he didn't get any alcohol? Chris is more pathetic than Jale was.

I've had his card marked for weeks.

He has played this well though, the acting has been useful.

It was a task 'roll eyes'

Anyway if he was so troubled about it why didn't he nominate Pav first? Why did he wait to be told to do so by the ex HMs

Yes. It's his game plan.

Maybe Chris thinks Steven is a bit of a mug, a little boring and self-centered, but doesn't believe anyone deserves the massive boos he got.

Yes that's it and Pav having done 'f' all deserves all the booing and being evicted. I think I get it.

It's dissapointing if he really means this. I'll withold judgement until i have a better understanding of how he really feels as again it may just be Chris telling them all they want to hear. Hopefully we get a diary room entry on his thoughts about Steve's eviction. As a viewer the diary room is actually the most important place to see Chris.

I don't think he does mean it as he's been gunning for Steve for weeks now in nominations and was happy enough to get Steve first up for nomination.

I like Chris but I'm under no illusions about him.
He's clearly a bitch of the highest order who's adopted more faces than a rubiks cube in order to avoid confrontation.
However, he's also observant, witty and articulate and amid this shower of gormless, gobby, delusional attention seekers, that cuts a lot of ice with me. Nobody in that house is without fault - it's become a case of weighing the positives against the negatives and seeing what you're left with. And Chris is one of a select few who's still in credit. Only my opinion of course.

I definitely agree. And while i dont quite think he deserves to win i think his diary room commentaries have been a big part of the show this year as it appears to be the only place we get to see what his true feelings are (perhaps apart from his conversations wuth Ashleigh). So i would take anything that he's feeding Helen etc with a pinch of salt.

From the Tellymix recap of Day 48

Quote:
“Chris and Ashleigh tell Mark that they have to nominate two more Housemates. Mark is visibly shocked as Chris explains why they have decided on Pav, they talk about the effects being up for nomination again would have on Christopher. Mark has to run off as this has given him a ‘nervous bowel.’

The Power Alliance are called to the Diary Room to make their next nomination. To help them make their decision they talk to ex-Housemates, Biannca, Danielle and Matthew via screens.”

So Ashleigh and Chris were planning on nomming Pav even before the business with the ex-HMs

Yes, after already nominating Steven and Ash. Fair enough they were going to nominate Pav and Zoe but they really had no one left by then. That hardly sounds like he really preferred Pav to go over Ash let alone Steven.

Looking at this video i also think that Chris is psychologically playing with Ash, he's trying to persuade Ash to vote for the new HMs (rather than him) by explaining the new HMs don't deserve to be here and should be nominated next.

Yes it's Chris's subtle () game plan. That acting is really coming in handy.

PNPing is never very subtle no matter who does it

That was the first time I actually liked Ashleigh.
Do you think they should hold grudges till the day they get out?
I think it showed maturity from both women .

No one seemed to care for Jale's maturity

As long as every Housemate is granted that excuse.

Hopefully Ash is sharp enough to figure out that he and Steven were put up first despite Chris feeling that it wasn't fair to have an original go over a new Housemate. What if Big Brother changed the rules and decided to make it a head-to-head between Steven and Ash? Would it be unfair that they went over a new Housemate then?

It's a pity Ash didn't decide to challenge Chris on this as I would have been interested to see his answer.

. . . ..”

What excuse I'm happy for Chris to hate Pav for it but he didn't. He didn't nominate him until he had no choices left and I saw him have laughs with Pav before the ex HMs spouted their garbage. I'm just confused as to why now that Steven has been evicted Chris suddenly remembers this task and suddenly wishes Pav had gone instead.

I'm thinking he forgot all about it long ago and was just licking Ash's arse

ETA You agree don't you

I did..I criticised people on here for attacking Jale because she dared to speak to Helen.

On BBAUS you usually get small group of hms attacking the others ( only in a much milder way than ours ) but BB always sets them a series of tasks to bond the whole group of hms together again.
I like HMs to have bust ups but I also like to see them come back together as a group and bury their differences.
