I actually don't think Ash is smart enough to catch on to it. I think he tends to see the good in people.

It could also just be that he isn't very confrontational ...he doesn't usually need to be as Helen (his bitch) deals with these sorts of issues on his behalf.

I think they wanted the House to think the public had the power which was flawed as Ashleigh would have been up before Zoe going on the cheer/boo mix last week. If they wanted the House to point the finger at the new Housemates the best thing to do would be not to nominate them at all, though they were placed in a difficult position if they didn't want to put Christopher or Winston at risk.

Then again, if Chris had kept his mouth shut or said something else rather than going on about how unfair it was then we wouldn't be having this discussion at all.

As for Steven going maybe Chris is disappointed that there will not be a free firework show in Hyde Park.

They were holding off nommng pav because he was the prime suspect as the secret PHM, Chris said this in the DR before they spoke to the ex HMs

I am really confused by Chris. I have wanted him to win for a fair few weeks, but he's making it harder for me to vote for him come final night (if he gets their)

By watching him i get the impression that hes trying to stay in the good books of all the housemates,

The way he is going about it isn't right, if he has a true opinion of someone then stick with it, don't just scurry around from one housemate to the next and buddy up with them.

He won't win if he carrys on in this form

He's been doing it from the start, it's just that there's a lot fewer in there now and it's more obvious.

He didn't say he's sad he's gone! He said it was a bit of a shame that someone here for 7 weeks had been evicted over two that had only been here a fortnight. He was only saying how unfair it appeared and that as he had indirectly had something to do with the outcome he felt a little bad about it. Perfectly reasonable.

Why does everyone on here twist things, go hysterical and speak in totally black and white terms, totally ignoring nuance, and even bending the truth to fit their agenda just because it's a housemate they don't like.

Wasn't this one of the main tenets of the original big brother? (Which has been totally eroded away since 5 took over.) There even used to be a spin off show about only about diary room entries.

The diary room SHOULD be where you vent, give private opinion and get things off your chest, and it should be PRIVATE and not repeated to the others. People on here (not you poster) slag Chris off for going to the DR and speaking his mind instead of being a complete t*sser and 'saying it to their face' which for some inexplicable reason has become the norm among the BB templates .......... er contestants. Isn't this what Big Brother was always about?

Way they're going they might as well ditch the diary room altogether because nothing is sacrosanct in there like the old days. I also have to say that Chris' observations (NOT rants as some people on here enjoy calling them) are the only thing worth watching in this series TBH.

In my opinion I think it would, yes. Even though neither of those two are my favourites, it is a pity that those who have put in the graft for 7 weeks should leave over the freshers. I don't think that's fair, no matter who it would have been.

Then maybe Chris should have argued for Pav and Zoe to be up before Ash. Maybe he did and it was cut from the edit. That's why I wanted Ash to challenge him - to see what he said about it.

I see it as Helen turning to Ashleigh.

He know that if they don't nom Pav they will most likely nom him so he's trying to avoid that happening.

Another possibility is that Chris thinks that if Steve had survived this yesterday they both would have been up for eviction next week and he believes he would have survived against him

If what is being written about Chris here and elsewhere is true, then I will have to reconsider him being my favourite.
