I have just noticed she now has a profile on the bbc website not noticed it before. It says she has an unhealthy obsession with her son and is religious. She puts me in mind of a modern day Dot actually.

I wonder where this obsession will take her character, maybe she will go up against Dot and possibly Ronnie. I am not too sure she will take too kindly to becoming a grandmother as I think that will interfere with yet own plans.

Dot and Charlie appear more over the next couple of weeks but there is not much about them in the spoilers so I wonder what they are keeping from us.

Definitely, I was pretty much the same. Its so refreshing to actually have new EE characters and not be thinking "Why on earth have they brought them in?!" as opposed to 2011 - 2013!

I can see so much potential in Yvonne. You are right, how long was Ava there and she never did anything remotely exciting except going on the hunt for that made up drink.

Ava's reveal scenes with Cora and Tanya were pretty strong I thought but that was as good as it got. At that point I was only tuning in now and then and I turned back off again pretty quickly soon after.

I agree Yvonne could be epic. I''ll jump for joy if Dot offers her a cup of tea and she raises her eyebrow.

Charlie is Nick and Yvonne's son,I have never doubted that but Ronnie's pregnancy sealed it. They have made it so Dot has a family that can lives on after she dies.

We are set for some great Ronnie/Yvonne scenes I reckon. They almost sound identical. Can't wait to see what happens. Now having Ronnie pregnant makes perfect sense.

Yvonne puts me more in mind of Dot, especially as she states she is obsessed with religion.

I love Charlie and Yvonne, they've given Dot a new lease of life. My favourite new characters along with (some of) the Carters. I'm glad that they are related to each other.

I still don't think she's his real mum maybe shes his adopted mother I still think he's Les and Pam's "dead son" there is something strange about what happened between charlie and let and the coffin I still don't think nick was in the coffin, or maybe he's les's son and Yvonne's because les did say he never puts his company at risk so maybe he's doing it for charlie because its someone he cares about

Well the official site have confirmed her to be his mother so I don't think its possible for him to be Pam and Les's son.

Agreed. Just the mystery now of why Nick's death was faked and what Charlie's profession actually is. Loving this slowburner. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a little link to Lucy either through drugs or Nick.

Exactly that reason was there once and was instantly forgettable

I thought she had great presence and am excited to see the actress, Mrs Doyle in EE, what's not to love?! I reserve the right to change my mind if she shags Max and starts simpering after him!
