Looks like Ashleigh is ingratiated in to the pack. Helen, not for the first time, says to her I think you will be in the final. Helen also mentions that she was cheered because she was away from Danielle and Ashleigh more or less agrees.

Somehow this will probably be twisted to imply that Helen HAD to be happy for Ashleigh, to take advantage of Ashleigh's popularity blah blah blah. Such rubbish. I don't think Helen has the slightest illusion about her chances of winning, and I believe she'd give her pass to the final to Ash if she was allowed to.

The clip is more a bad reflection on Ashleigh than it is of Helen. Helen is acknowledging Ashleigh -something that Ashleigh has wanted for so long. What is implicit in the clip is that Ashleigh so easily dismisses her former alliances and those who supported her in there.

Lol Ashleigh doesn't look like she gives two hoots for what Helen has to say. All she needs to do is keep it civil and keep Helen firmly in her back pocket where she belongs.

I don't see how it reflects badly on Ashleigh. All Ashleigh has heard Helen say is that she probably got cheered because she isn't on her own with Danielle.

What.....wait a minute........you think Ashleigh has wanted some sort of "acknowledgement.....for so long" from Helen?!? Is there another version of Big Brother that I must be missing? Nonsense.

Ashleigh is getting on a bit better with some of them, that's a good thing from everyone. While maybe a little too gushing at times I still think it is a case of both Helen and Ashleigh just getting on for the sake of a hassle free last few weeks and maybe they are growing closer.........but once they get out that will end and they'll certainly not be keeping in touch IMO.

And for the record, it is spot on to suggest that it has been better for Ashleigh now that Danielle has gone. Much better for her as that wee twosome dragged each other down but IMO Danielle was the ringleader.

I still reckon Ashleigh will still nominate Ash. We'll see how happy Helen is if that's the case and she finds out

LOL The goalposts seem to be constantly shifting for Ashleigh supporters. I can't keep up! After all is Ashleigh the strong independent thinker you like to claim her to be or a weak gullible little girl influenced by Danielle?
Here's a third scenario, perhaps she's just a ruthless little brat who'd shaft Danielle just to get on the right side of Helen.

Lol. What is wrong with you people?

This isn't a war.

I'd expect people on a BB forum to know they communicate many times on a daily basis.

A ruthless little brat - hahahaha......what age are you ffs!!

Danielle was very good at manipulation as we all seen. When it came to the private conversations, that many felt wasn't wise for either Danielle or Ashleigh to do, I feel that Danielle was more influential in them disassociating themselves from the group. It's clear that Danielle is a haribo short of a toothache and I think she was quite happy to sit and yap (ably assisted by Ashleigh.....I thought it was a mistake on her part a few weeks back even though I still liked her as a housemate) one on one with Ashleigh because I feel she was happy to keep Ashleigh away from the rest as much as possible because Danielle was afraid of losing her as Ashleigh is clearly, and now proving, more capable of mixing normally with all of the other housemates, including Helen.

I think Ashleigh realised this too, particularly in Danielles last week, but wouldn't blatantly come out and ditch the glamour nun as she did grow fond of her in their time in the house. It's only natural now though for Ashleigh to agree with any of the other housemates who realised the above too. It's not exactly slating someone who isn't there - just telling the truth that the constant negativity of their chats (more often than not justified, but still........) wasn't helpful a) for an easy life and b) when it came to integrating the house as a whole.

Most of that bullsh!t from Helen was an attack on Danielle. It's in her nature to always be dragging someone down. Ashleigh said that what Helen was saying wasn't offensive to herself, meaning she was being offensive to Danielle. It was Helen, Kim and Jale who made Ashleigh miserable in order to get her nominated and evicted, not Danielle. Yet again, Helen is passing the buck for what she and her gang did.

How can you be so sure in advance that people will say that Helen has to "be happy for Ashleigh"? You know it's a fact. Despite Helen's worst efforts, Ashleigh is still standing WITHOUT bowing down like her evicted "friends" did. Ashleigh for the win.

Ashleigh has had a bad week in the house, and I expect that they sneakily thought she might leave.........but after her good reception, I am not surprised that the HMs are flitting around her like bees to the honey pot......

Zoe is the same, massive cheers.......and dear Mark flinging his arms around her, and he said to Ash that he would apologise to Zoe if she got a good reception and he felt she was not bad, like the ex HMs had said........

Coming towards the end, and they are thinking of their reception when leaving, so we are going to find odd alliances forming........for the sake of the public......

So the excuse is now that strong independent Ashleigh was led by Danielle.

No excuses made as none are required. I do think Ashleigh has seemed a lot more relaxed since Danielle left. Doesn't mean she's disloyal in fact the opposite imo. I think she was beginning to realize that Danielle is a bit bonkers but stuck with her because she was her friend. Although she was probably sad when Danielle left I suspect she was a bit relieved as well. As for Helen, they're the only two original girls left and are making the best of it. I doubt they'll ever like each other and I'd bet my house they'll never see each other again after this is all over. I do think Danielle tried to keep Ashleigh away from the others although she was quite happy to suck up to them herself. I don't recall Danielle defending Ashleigh when Helen was putting the boot in. She just sat there nodding like a poodle. I've said all along I think Danielle was the most two faced person in that house.

So true, that girl always has to have an enemy, every bloody week, compliments someone but is always really having a dig at someone else, she backtracks a lot as well, crazy lady.

I love the way Christopher gets cut off for acknowledging first the fact Ashli may be popular as she was given the PHM, it's like Helen has to talk over as she has to be first to notice her sudden popularity, shame Zoe & Pav don't speak up and say she has been top 3/4 for several weeks

Ashleigh bitched far more than Daniel imo but that does not suit the agenda of some people.

Yes she did, and not only that Ashleigh was always following Danielle around when she went to talk to the others, I remember Ashleigh interupting and standing in between Danielle and Kim a few times.

Ashleigh was the one who wanted to be isolated and just have a bitch buddy, Danielle was always the one who often seemed to want to break free from those constraints and join in with the others.

Ashleigh has been a strong leader in all tasks, even the 'cool kids' wanted her on their team, she is a brilliant 18 year old who even coped better with the oppression in there than the older folk did. Her parents have a lot to be proud of

Good point. I saw that, but sort of missed it.
It was Christopher who made the point, but then Helen leapt at the opportunity and said to Ashleigh as she was walking over "Ashleigh,....I was just saying....."

I'm sure I saw a clip where Ashleigh was telling Chris that Helen said she was only voted to be the PHM because she's a bitch.
