have no way near as much life experience as a 29 year old. Go on a god awful reality show...or two, and then maybe, just maybe you have enough prestige to keep up conversation with Zoe. Yawn...

speaking to Zoe must be so intimidating, all them stories about singing Michael Jackson numbers with Sinitta, I'd be too starstruck and so ashamed that I had wasted my life, probably I'd just give up and become an alcoholic

Just become a complete horror destined for pantomimes in Liverpool's finest theatres instead - works for Zoe

I cannot tell you how riled I was with that remark. I loathe pretentiousness and affectation and she reeks of both. She reall showed herself up for the classless luvvie she really is.

Only consolation is she will have lost votes for that.

I wonder where Zoe does her shopping?

The thing is, even if it is at Fortnum & Mason, Marks & Spencer or Waitrose, those workers would be on similar pay & condtions to those at Tesco, so I wonder what she thinks of them?

I like Zoe but there was really no need for that sort of remark. What I found more annoying was, it was Ash she was talking to about it. He's admitted he's never done a days 'hard graft' in his life. So Zoe can talk to a bone idle eejit, but would have trouble relating to someone working in a 'normal job' for a living. Silly Cow

If you're a Falklands veteran working on security, a checkout girl whose hobby is potholing or a teenager working on the next killer App, don't bother talking to Zoe; you'll have nothing interesting to say to her.

I despise this woman more than Helen. I hope the housemate nominate the ego maniac and the public sent her "elite" arse out of those doors back in to obscurity where the dopey mare belongs.

I thought Zoe was an OK housemate up to the point where she came out with this crap.

For any Zoe fans out there what are your thoughts, are the rest of us being too sensitive or is she simply up her own a rse.

should we start a facebook campaign to get the **** out now

I bet she was so pleased when Ash told her he was only pretending to be a plumber, for a while there she actually thought she had made friends with someone that had worked on a building site, imagine that? luckily she found out he's a model, so even though he's a workshy layabout he's actually highly creative, ambitious and deeply interesting

I think she was really just trying to be complementary to the house and fit in, but, yeah, not her finest moment.

I hardly think she meant the remarks maliciously or too sound condescending.

Wasn't she just saying many people in the house are successful or have had some media background so she has more in common with them than maybe if all the people were just ordinary joe bloggs obviously she could of said it better.

"I work in Tesco's" full stop followed by blank expression, if she wasn't being malicious she's the least tactful person in the world

Lots of the staff at my local Tesco are Uni students trying to earn a bit of a extra money to put themselves through their studies. Others are people who've been made redundant from other jobs and can't find anything else and are just trying to get by, basically people work in supermarkets for all sorts of reasons,

But Zoe has always been annoying, going back to her Pop Idol days, she always had a high opinion of herself even then at that young age.

I'm a housekeeper in a hotel and I love my job! I don't think it's a menial job at all, I get to meet people from all over the world and I hear some great stories. Zoe just thinks she is above everyone else!

I sang karaoke on holiday once is that good enough for the snob?
Oh and I once met Paul Gascoigne.

Leave the girl alone! All Zoe said was that everybody in the house was successful, like herself, so it was nice for her because she could connect to them more easily, unlike with the proletariat, servile scum fit only to pass bags of reduced brussels sprouts over a checkout scanner, and talentless worker drones devoid of dreams, interests, passions or a rich inner-life. What's offensive about that?

Interestingly enough, in addition this implies that Zoe thinks Helen is also "successful" in her chosen career. Which I suppose is true really. After all if a whore is named as a Rooney f****r and "fan" of Downton Abbey in the papers, she must be doing something right!

I hate people who judge others on their job. A job is a job and anyone working should be proud they support themselves and not live off the state. I liked Zoe until she showed clear snobbery in this way.

Haha me too
I've had a wide variety of jobs from Insurance Broker, Teddy Bear maker, medical receptionist to working on food factory lines to pot washer.
Living life in the real world doing real things is what gives one real life experience.
Zoe can stuff off

Very condescending - "My life's more exciting than 'ordinary people' and I can learn nothing from them"

Untrue - You could learn a little humility you barely-successful nobody that most people have either never heard of or had forgotten about.

I'll give her this though - she's mighty flexible. I couldn't get my head up my own arse like that!
