His face when he heard the boos. What has he done to deserve all that? He may not be the most exciting of HMs but he hasn't done anything at all to deserve those boos. Poor Pav.

So did I. He really has done nothing wrong.

It's honestly one of the most baffling receptions I've ever witnessed. I have no idea why he was booed so mercilessly.

The only reason I can think of, is that the rent-a-crowd saw what the ex HMs said about him during the task this week and took it as gospel. On top of his VT, perhaps it doesn't paint him in such a good light to people without any objectivity or a mind of their own.

I feel for him too.

I hope Christopher notices and befriends him.

It was a strange reaction for a lad who has done nothing.
Perhaps the Essex crowd think he's muslim. I'm fairly certain they regard him as "P**i"

Anyway, he seems quite a nice chap if a bit dull.
I felt very sorry for him several times last night, he's miserable in there,

I was surprised how hostile the crowd were to Pav, he got as bad a reception as Steve!

I admit i dont particular like him myself but i dont get how he could be so unpopular in such a short space of time!

I noticed that, after Steven left, Christopher immediately hugged Pav and said 'Congratulations!'

Bloody Mathew, Bianca and the ever so bitter Danielle have had a lot to do with this. Nasty sh*ts. Mark has also set Pav up by his poisonous little stories to the house - dont like him one bit!

I find Pav endearing and sweet, hope it all settles down soon for him.

His big mistake is trying to get in with the nasty gang, it aint gonna happen. He needs to gravitate toward the other HM's, they have all been treated like crap in the house and will know how it feels, he needs to confide in them.

Why are they an 'Essex crowd'?

So did I and I cheered when Steven went. Pav is more popular than Steven. Well done Pav.

Your use of the word the Essex crowd is puerile and insulting and racist too.

People think everyone from the outskirts of London are from Essex. Pure ignorance.

Totally agree. I hope this week he gets the biggest cheer and his face lights up. He seems a nice young lad. I prefer him to Zoe, who's nice but annoying nice, if you know what I mean.

It's also they way some on here use Essex as an insult by thinking a county of a million people are all exactly the same as the 25 people on TOWIE. Just breathtaking ignorance really.

I've noticed that too, it's like everyone from Essex MUST be a ficko with a bright orange tan. It's ridiculous.

Even Emma commented on how frenzied the crowd was last night. I reckon they were having so much fun booing the widely loathed Steven that Pav, who they only find a bit boring, became an easy target for the overspill.

Just a theory. I agree with was horrible and completely unwarranted.

The boos for him were louder than Steven's and when Emma went to the house for the last time "Get Pav out" was the louder chant.

Also disagree with people saying it's got to do with the ex HMs videos (in terms of how the HMs are acting towards him then yes) only because he was getting booed last week anyway and that was before the 3 numpties had said anything to the house. I can understand his VT might have been why he booed last week but for the boos to get worse and for him to get chanted in the space of a week when he hasn't actually done anything of note is rather confusing.

Essex crowd is two words, and I think you're having some trouble following the discussion.

It's a shame that you seem to be ignorant about where the production team get the crowd from.
I know and I also know all the counties that boarder London
And I know which one you hail from

You've just made that up so you can be outraged.
the crowd are overwhelmingly from Essex, this in no way generalises that they represent all Essex, just that they represent a group of people, from Essex who live closer to London and are the sort who watch BB and would take time from their lives to go to the studios on a Friday evening to bay like fools

I genuinely didnt get it. Yes he's boring and he's not really delivered on his audtion video...but many havent delievered on this...its no reason for that booing. Apart from that I dont think hes done anything else to warrant what he got on friday.

Hes unpopular in the house because of what the previous housemates clips said about him, and thats all theyve got to go on....but the eviction crowd had more than that and yet he got that reaction? Now we can sit and watch as the other housemates try to disassociate themselves from him as they know hes unpopular.

I do feel for him, being an "over thinker" myself. However, he's not dealing with it very well and in a way making it worse for himself. Many people get booed by the crowd for no obvious reason. I think Christopher has always been the outsider in the house but has managed to stay strong without coming across as a complainer. I remember Pauline putting him up for eviction for his own sake as she thought he wouldn't handle the house very well. I also remember the patronising "What could we teach him?" I think you need to have a very strong sense of self to survive in that house full of mostly egomaniacs.
